Reservation was for Uhaul to be picked up in Brandon MB, then driven to Calgary to move my Mom back to Manitoba. Last minute, and without a call from Uhaul, my reserved unit was unavailable. It had been dropped off in Edmonton, and there were no others available except in Edmonton, so had to drive all the way there for it. We were NOT pleased that we could not have the trailer from Brandon and could not bring our load from Manitoba to Calgary, as planned. Some better communication from Uhaul would have been appreciated. And no offer of compensation AT ALL.

Well when I went in to reserve the truck I specifically said I needed it for 2 days. When it came time to pick up the keys I wasn't in town so my wife had to pick them up. The clerk who I guess had no recollection of me saying I need the truck for 2 days asked my wife how long I needed it my wife not being sure said one day. I came home to find out that the truck was only mine for a day and that's not what I asked for. Then I get phone call after phone call from uhual reps asking me why I still have the truck I explained to them that their rep in Brandon messed up the reservation and there was nothing I could do about it.

Have the trailer I ordered for when I needed it. Don't make me have the headache of sorting out someone else's mistake/ they didn't do their job.... after 2hours dealing with the issue I am less than satisfied with what I had to endure. It should have been simple. However the outcome was acceptable.

I would not recommend this location to anyone.. Everytime I went there the price was different. The information she gave me was different Everytime I talked to the lady. She guaranteed me service that she did not provide. I had to wait over an hour for the auto transport that was at a different location on highland ave because she told me it WILL be at the 10th St location so I didn't have a nother driver to get my car and the truck there. The debit didn't work (hasn't for 2months she said) so I had to get money from Overall it was a very frustrating experience.

The store hours should be long enough that someone can return equipment at a normal time of day. Anyone renting equipment to move will not be finished and able to return the equipment by 3pm. Also, other locations should be better about checking hours for the drop off location, as our drop off time was supposed to be after 4pm, and the return location was only open until 3. We returned the trailer according to the paperwork we were handed when picking it up in Ontario, and then were told we would be charged an extra day fee, even though we did exactly what our paperwork said. Not very impressed.

Although good experience with the agent, uhaul overall provided a stressful and unprofessional experience. I will not be using uhaul in the future. I made a booking 10 days ahead of time, and it was altered for me less than 24 hours before pickup. The stressed caused by this was unforgivable. Uhaul didn't seem concerned until I became extremely angry. If there is an issu with a trailer, it should be uhaul's responsibility to figure it out for the customer, not my tesponsibitly as a customer to figure out a solution. Very unprofessional and I will not be recommending them to anyone I know from now on

Was a little disappointed that the debit machine wasn't working. the lot is small and hard to manoeuver around, especially when another customer is there as well. We had to move the trailer by hand so we could hook it up to the truck.

This place need knowledge of customer service. I've been on live chat, 1800 number on the uhaul website to get everything organise plus I call this location in Brandon Manitoba to ask about there hours the day before. They told me for April 12 and 13 will be opened 9am to 5pm. And I told them I have to haul my stuff from 1hour outside town and would like to get access to my uboxes for both days. So I got there at 1130am ! No one at the office location. I call the number again and they person said to me he will be back in 20mins and I waited for 40mins then he call me back saying there is 2 Ubox outside on 2 different trailers and I can start loading them. So I hang up and go to the Uboxes to shit rolling but unfortunately both of them the door was bolted. So I call the guy back and told him the stupid door was bolted but I didn't use that language cause I'm to handle the frustration inside me somewhere cause my 5yrs old son and my wife was with me. So after another 20mins the guy show up and freaking told me I'm supposed to get my shit load up since yesterday, and they are not supposed to sit there all day doing nothing, they are going to stop doing this service...blablabla . My little kid was hungry and bored plus I have to drove a freaking hour speeding because i have to go get my to other daughter at school. IS THIS CALL MOVING EXPERT PLEASE TELL ME? WHAT ABOUT COMMUNICATION? But the people in Winnipeg one of them name Judy she was a freaking legend on customer service no complaint with any phone call i have been made but that place in Brandon MB was insane. God ! Management people where are you people before handing over a franchise?

NEVER AGAIN!! Worst experience possible. Booked a 6x12 enclosed trailer in advance online. Arrived at the location at my designated pick up time (2:30pm) to find nobody around and the office locked. Apparently they decided to close early that day. After many phone calls I received permission to take the only trailer on the lot. Covered in mud and lights didn't work. I've used uhaul many times and have watched the quality of equipment and service deteriorate to the point where I will avoid at all cost from now on.

I was scheduled to pick up the U-haul at 10:00 am and waited for 2 hours and they insisted I return in back by 4 pm as I had booked it for 6 hours. The truck and equipement was not checked after the last customer and before I got it.
