First time I was given a vehicle dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Ash try was full of cigarettes buds and floor had a spill from a soda that was left to dry.

I opted to save gas and drop the truck off near the location I was moving to rather than driving all the way back across town to the pick up location BUT NO ONE disclosed to me when I reserved the truck online NOR When I picked it up that I Would Be charged SUBSTANTIALLY MORE THAN “$19.99 + MILEAGE “ As I Had Been Advised Until the Next Day @ the Drop Off Location and They Were EXTREMELY RUDE!! I WON’T EVER USE UHAUL AGAIN For Any Reason In the Future Due To the POOR Way I Was Treated By the Employees @ 377 W. Brandon BLVD.

My truck had no brake fluid and no oil. After having a complete brake failure and two call outs for a service person, it was determined that the main brake line was ruptured. My vehicle had to be towed. The angle of the tow shifted my load and damaged a number of items, mostly furniture. Also the cargo area leaked when it rained, further ruining furniture. I was almost involved in a car accident because of this truck's poor maintenance, an accident that could have killed me or another driver/occupant simply because the truck could not stop. I was given a full refund. I deserve much more for my time, damaged furniture, and personal stress.

The staff was irritable and very annoyed when we arrived. The person I worked with was obviously upset and took it out on the customers. We were in line and jovial and he was very morose and upsetting. It was also annoying that your system kept trying to sell me stuff that I had already declined previously. I had everything ready to go when I got to the store and it took me another 30 minutes just to wait in line. Finally, when i did get my equipment, the yard personnel were helpful and did check everything out with me, but the trailer was full of gravel and other debris. I gave it back completely clean, but do not enjoy cleaning up other people's messes.

I had to unhook and drop the 6x12 enclosed trailer by myself upon drop-off. Wasn't happy about it.

Windshield and windows were dirty, there was water in the reservior thankfully, truck had a "weird" smell, had to describe musty maybe or maybe last person had a lot of hay in it. The people in the office were extremely polite.

I needed a closed in trailer. They had two but I was told they were for one way only I had to get an open trailer and sure enough it started to rain I had to take trailer back because we were moving furniture The attendant did not care what had happened I use this facility often for my business We have spent over $600 for moving supplies recently

Location was understaffed for the service demands on the date of pick up. Insufficient customer parking given the service demands. Once waited on, customer service reps were professional and moved quickly to assist clients in their pickup/departure.

Not a very friendly and customer oriented location. Front desk treats people without respect, maybe either too young or to ignorant of social rules. Never address a customer by their first name among other things.

U-Haul puts the employees in a bad situation by the way they do business. I made my reservation online and did not realize I only had the van reserved for four hours. The rate was listed as 19.95 for 24 hours. Yet I was told I had to have the van back in four hours or face a $50 charge. While I was checking out a young woman was their to get her truck only to find out it was at a location miles away and she would need to take an Uber to pick it up and again after turning it in. This in spite of the fact she had reserved the truck for the location we were at. These are fails to me. Not for this location, but for U-Haul. I learned my lesson about how U-Haul does business. On another note, I tried to check in with the web site and couldn’t. Too many fails for U-Haul today.

I used the 24/7 share. I thought the truck would be ready to go. It was more like an Easter egg hunt. I had to go in and ask for the key anyhow.

The personnel could improve on their people skills. They were not rude, but they were not courteous either. I entered and all 3 staff members just looked at me, none said a word. I, essentially, chose one at random, addressed him and he took my contract and started walking away. I didn’t know if I needed to follow him or stay put because him didn’t tell me. I followed, we reached the equipment and he started talking to another staff member. He got on his phone and after a bit told me: “You’re good.” The process was relatively efficient, but as I said, some people skills are missing.

We called ahead of time to schedule an U-Haul pick up. We were told that we would have the truck for 6 hours. They scheduled us to have the truck from 11:23 to 4:45 which is only 5 hours. We brought the truck back around 7 which would be 2 hours over the 6 hour mark we we’re promised to begin with. They try to charge for two days and then say it’s in the contract, but we read the contract. It states if we you return the truck late then you will be charged an additional charge not an additional day. There was a guy that says he worked there, but was not in uniform, so he was there on his off day arguing with us as women and clapping his hands and yelling bye honey it’s in the contract. That policy is not written in the contract provided to us and we we’re also no informed. So we no longer use this service moving forward.

Need to provide cruise control. Driving from Florida to Pennsylvania without it is painful. Both locations, pickup and drop off , had great staff and made it a great experience. Good customer service on both ends.
