RESERVATIONS ARE NOT GUARANTEED!!!! I don’t recommend U Haul at all. We reserved a truck to move our son out of State. Truck wasn’t available so we had to go to the next town 30 minutes away. That truck was blocked by other vehicles and we were picking up after hours. Avalanches towing in Livingston Montana was not helpful. U-haul reserved a truck back in Bozeman where we started for the next day. When we went to pick up the truck it had another reservation attached to it. We did get that truck but the other person did not. The staff at the facilities were trying their best but U Haul as a company is awful!

Vicki JTerrible 2 experiences with an owner who has no customer service skills (or appreciation). First time... we rented a uhaul online in November... and showed up at the right date/time/location to no truck... was rudely told uhaul corporate systems are difficult and we'd need to go to another location several miles away to get the truck we reserved. Second time... rented a uhaul today for an hour to move Christmas decorations to a storage unit. He was rude about uhaul corporate being firm on price when I inquired about a discount... and was downright nasty about "parking in front of the bay doors" for literally 5 minutes BECAUSE HE COULDN'T PULL HIS OWN CAR BACK IN THERE TO KEEP WATCHING FOOTBALL ON A SUNDAY! I was overly pleasant and understanding... for awhile before telling him exactly what i think. Maybe he's an amazing mechanic,.. maybe he have other stressors in his life...but I'd literally drive across the country to avoid having to interact with him ever again. So much for montana values and customer service prioritization.
