Did not have the equipment necessary for the move, they had no furniture blankets and my wood furniture was ruined in the move. I was over charged for the rental.

For starters, let me preface the fact that this location will not be working with U-Haul in the near future. At least that’s what they told me and perhaps why their customer service was so poor. To begin with, the man that was supposed to open the doors on time was late, careless with the equipment, and overcharged me the insurance that I specifically said I did not want. The craziest part of it was that this man still had the nerve to try to sell me an electric car and promote his new business as soon as he discontinues with U-Haul. Can you say trashy car salesman? I wish I knew his name so I could put it on this post. Today, the woman working in the office could care less about helping me get a refund for the insurance coverage I was charge for the day I moved last Saturday. She was too busy on the phone figuring out her own personal banking. This woman was extremely rude and I too wish I knew her name so that I could speak with her boss. The only positive of this experience was working with the manager at the corporate office who apologized and is in the process of providing me with a reimbursement. It’s really unfortunate when you work with people in customer service that really could care less in helping out their clients. I hope I never work with these particular individuals again.

I scheduled my truck to be picked up at 9:00 am on the day I needed to move and was confirmed a 15' truck would be available at that time and location. I received a call later stating the 15' truck would not be available until 1:30 PM assuming the previous renters returned it on time. This location closes at 1:00 PM on Saturday so I would've had to use the mobile app to check in. I tried calling 6 times over 4 hours on Saturday to confirm a truck would be available and no one answered or returned my calls. I then went in person to get some answers. The local agent was able to switch my reservation to a 10' truck since he was unable to confirm if the previous renter of the the 15' truck would return it on time. I was less than unimpressed with UHaul's ability to communicate and stick to their word about having a truck reservation at a certain time.

Great customer service by the company, they did a great job getting me setup quickly and the service was quality. My only gripe albeit a major one was that he did not ask me if I would like insurance on my rental and just put it on the contract. My credit card and car insurance both provide this service for me at no charge and I was ripped off $10 because it was put on my order without being asked.

Terrible experience with customer service. The insurance I did not want was defaulted on my reservation even though I did not order it. When I went in to pick up the truck and after hearing the pitch to keep it, I said I explicitly did not want it and I signed the waiver. The manager even initialed a handwritten note 'remove' beside the insurance. The charge was put through my credit card when I dropped off the truck. Impossible to get someone at this location or UHaul to remove the charge. Location doesn't answer phone so call gets diverted to call center that pretend they are local receptionists. Call center transfers to customer service... customer service says they can't fix a bill and say to call location where i rented truck. An endless loop designed for UHaul to overcharge me $14. What a business model, huh?

I was charged for safemove by UHaul. I previously rejected that online but was charged anyway. Now, I have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund. The money was taken and now I have to wait, very dissatisfied.

A local nonprofit picked up and returned a rental truck at Arapahoe Rentals and was overcharged for both mileage and day rates. Arapahoe Rentals claims that it has no responsibility for the charges and no ability to adjust them, and the numbers we've called at U-haul corporate have had excessive phone waiting times. Additionally, U-haul corporate has so far chosen not to respond to email and Uhaul.com/review communication.

I followed the directions and everything seemed ok up until I had to retrieve the key from the box. The box was already open and there were no key! I called the number that was given to me in the directions that supposed to work 24/7 and nobody answered the phone. I left a voice message and then called again at least 4 times! Nobody answered and nobody called me that day or the next day! I didn’t know what to do because most of the other U-haul locations were already closed. Luckily there was a woman in the office working. I knock and knock until she came to the door and cautiously asked what it is that I want. I explained her the situation; meanwhile called other U-haul locations. She found the key. It was inside and wasn’t properly prepared. I am extremely unhappy about the service and will not use it in the future!

Employee's computer and credit card reader both froze at different times while trying to rent the truck, making the process take much longer than it should have. Key was very difficult - nearly impossible - to remove from the ignition of the truck. Employee was super friendly and helpful and threw in the free use of moving blankets to make up for the computer troubles. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience, price, and location. Would definitely rent from that location again. Thank you U-Haul!
