We were charged an additional 60 because we did not drop the vehicle off before 8 am. EVEN THOUGH we spoke to customer service the day prior, and told us the site was closed that day so to just drop the trailer off whenever. This was misleading, and I believe the 60 dollar charge should be dropped.

You change my location..causing me to pay more for mileage.. and there was a truck available at the location I picked..because I called and asked!!!!!! The signs for this location are not clear.. no one in the office once I finally saw a little uhaul sign on a door in the middle of a used car lot..and hair shop... no dominion land and auction sign... uhauls on both sides of 460 as well..
Picked up rental truck on Friday, Sept 11 with the intent of returning the truck on Sunday, Sept 13. However, needed the truck a bit longer and returned it on Monday morning, Sept 14 with a full tank of gas. Key left in drop box. Just rec'd credit card statement and I was charged for an additional day, through Tues Sept 15. I questioned this first with the supplier and they indicated that I should not have any charges for the 15th and directed me to the UHaul Traffic Center since they are the only ones that could make billing adjustments. UHaul contacted Dominion, the supplier, and was told that the truck did not come back until the 15th. What the heck. I know when it was returned, and their story was different with UHaul. My advice is to hold on to the gas receipt that will have the date of the fill-up/return date. I paid over $300.00 for a local in town move!.
The traffic light at the intersection for exiting the trailer storage lot does not have a signal for the lot, so when exiting with the trailer attached and heading back across the main highway to finalize the rental, the customer has to turn right and then make a U-turn, or else make a guess when the crossing traffic all has red lights.

They took care of the issues but there was a leak in the Mom's Attic portion. Previous renters should have reported it... A repair on a metal panel in the floor was loose and eventually failed. No injuries ensued, and the location took the truck out of circulation immediately.

Very crowded lot. It was a college town, so I understand a lot of rentals coming in. The person who helped me was a young man. He was directing renters and running from drop-off to drop-off. Very energetic and helpful. I didn't get his name, but he deserves extra credit for how hard he was working that day.
The drop off lots are confusing. There is no one present on Sundays and the signage on the building is confusing and misleading. There's at least 3 different locations â€œacross the streetâ€ [2 different streets too] that one could return a truck - with no indication of which lot is the correct lot. The sign simply says â€œacross the streetâ€. Wouldn't be as big of a deal if that same sign â€“ hidden behind a trash can outside the office â€“ didn't also state a â€œ$25 re-parking fee for those left hereâ€, which is casually crossed out in faded white ink with â€œ$100.00â€ written above it, barely visible. Yikes. Luckily an employee phone number left on a piece of paper on the door finally responded to a text message and told me I had dropped it off in the correct lot. Also, BE AWARE, according to another sign, they charge â€œ$4.88/0.1galâ€ of fuel â€“ that's $48.80/gallon, which by all accounts is insanely EXPENSIVE, so don't forget to top off your tank. Since my return date was a Sunday, I had no choice but to return when there were no employees present. Otherwise I would recommend returning when an employee is present to avoid any confusion. To clarify and be fair, I wasn't hit with any added charges or fees, but the signage on the storefront had me pretty worried.
I was scheduled to pick my U-HAUL up at 8pm. I was told I would receive a code for a lock box. I was not able to leave the lot until 10pm because the keys were not put in a lock box. I had to call customer service and was on hold for over 40 minutes. They had to switch reservations so that I could receive a code and my keys for the truck we rented. The staff were friendly and scheduled our reservation no problem; just wasn't completed properly.
College town, this service center simply overwhelmed. Staff responded well and appreciate their efforts during such overwhelming demand of drop-offs.
The operation is a one man show, have to exercise a little patience. Person Running it does a very good job and is attentive to all customers as best as he can. Location has 2 parking lots and a rental office. Which may be confusing but once you approach the location it does make sense. There are signs directing you to trailer drop off and truck drop off as well as where to drop keys. Overall, great experience he provides FREE SNACKS which is great when moving. Would recommend this location again.
Signage was a little confusing. Wasn't exactly sure where to leave the trailer so I just found an empty spot. Staff came immediately to help when asked.
