The outside of this low mileage Ford had what appeared to be oil scum all over it. The windows were dirty and the inside of the windshield had what appeared to be coffee w/ cram splashed on the drivers side. The seats, floor, and cargo box were spotless. I would definitely recommend ear plugs as cab noise runs about 85 decibels.
We originally rented a van but needed something a little larger ao went into the Allen store and asked to upgrade to a 10-fr truck. We were told the smallest available at his location was a 15 ft so he instructed us to ask for a 15 ft (would think we should not have had to pay the larger amount for space we didn't want or need)!! The day we picked up the U-haul truck the worker was going to give us a truck that smelled heavily of tobacco smoke and there was a cigarette burn In the driver seat. I explained I was allergic to cigarette smoke and needed a different truck. The worker was furious and said that the paperwork would take an hour to change to the new truck and that he was the only one working. I started walking toward a another newer truck to inspect for smoke odor and he sarcastically said, â€œyou are NOT getting that oneâ€. He was extremely rude and made the entire transaction extremely uncomfortable. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
With the inspection of my truck I learned that my hitch was not as strong as it should be, thanks to the knowledge of your personnel. I will upgrade my hitch at a later date.

Other than the very helpful older gentleman and his grandson, my rental of the trailer I needed NOW, was delayed three hrs. because of some kind of glitch on U Hauls end. So because moving day is all about timing, the long delay screwed up my plans big time with new tenants moving in while all my stuff was in there way because I was not able to load up my stuff when I said and planned to do at 9AM. I think that not even paying the measly $28 dollars I owed with cash was even more frustrating. I could see my trailer sitting there waiting to be hooked up and could not because of a so called glitch on U Hauls end. I feel that because I am a long time customer of U Haul, I should be refunded my trailer charge and maybe even given a voucher on top of that. I was extremely inconvenienced and was extremely unhappy with this treatment by U Haul.
N/A, folks were inviting, friendly, and made the check out process way easier than I thought it would be (gave them the key, he examined it, checked some stuff of on his phone, and we were done!).

I dropped off the trailer to an older gentleman who was extremely grumpy and didn't say hello. He opened the rear door of the trailer. I had rented 2 bags of blankets. One (6 blankets) wasn't even used and still in the plastic. The other 6 blankets were obviously tossed around from the 40 mile drive being empty. The grumpy guy said..."are you going to fold those?". These were his first words to me. I responded with, "No". He said he was going to charge me $25 because they weren't folded. I went inside the chemical evasive trailer from the cleaning solution at the pickup location. Folded the one blanket that wasn't folded in 30 seconds. He then hooked up the trailer to a battery pack to see the side lights not working.....he was upset at me because this trailer..."should have never left the other location"!! Completely unprofessional and an extremely unpleasant person working at your Bishop location.
Mike has been wonderful to me over the years. This last move was for myself and took 2 trucks. Mike was patient with my vacillations over what size truck to order. Huge thank you to Mike!
They do a great job of taking care of their customers. I have no complaints so I really don't know what they can do better.

I had the car hauler reserved for Sunday and drove 1-1/2 hours total to pick it up only to be told no-one was on site to help me I returned mondat leaving work 1 hour early to be in bishop before closing and left with the trailer at 4:36 pm. The following day i once again left work early to get back in 24 hours and called to verify but was told no one would be on site to check me in and just leave it I arrived at 5:15 thinking it didn't matter due to them leaving by 4:30 A young man was on site working and checked me in telling me i now owed an additional day I am an easy going person and don't complain abou much but this was terrible service by any standard Insult to injury is a perfect term here

Had a tire blow out on a car hauler trailer I rented. I would recommend maybe adding a spare tire to the trailer. Especially driving through remote locations where cell service is spotty and the nearest assistance is a good distance away. Waiting on the Side of the road for sometime With a family can get a little stressful
