Got charged for two days when they said it would be one. Was told that uhaul rep came by and fixed it, but the visa still had two days. Called on at least two different occasions they said it would be fixed and never was and it's been months. I will not do business with people who can't keep their word.

I ordered my uhaul online for my father and the price quoted vs. what my end cost came to were drastically different. Insurance was added to our bill that was not authorized and because this was a oneway rental the Nashville location was unable to assist. I will be calling in tomorrow to document officially. I have moved a number of times and typically prefer uhaul. This particular experience was terrible and I am very disappointed.

Absolute worse customer service I've ever had at a business. I started my move with my rental at 14458.1 miles and dropped it off at 14499.9 miles. My receipt that was emailed to me states that I picked it up at 14431 miles. When we got it, it was also at 1/4th of a tank of gas. Since I did not use half a tank of gas, I did not refill it to 1/2 the tank as stated on the paperwork. I called the store where we picked it up. The "general manager" hung up on me twice, told her employee that it wasn't "her problem," and told me to call her back at 12 PM when they reopened because she has been at work since 7 AM and was tired. She completely disregarded that I have been overcharged by 27 miles and 1/4th a tank of gas because "she was tired." I have a picture of the gas tank and mileage on my phone with a time stamp and the location it was taken. I am on the phone with uhaul customer service trying to resolve the issue. It's very inconvenient to be charged an extra $50 because of the company's falsified information.

I made an in-person reservation for 10' truck. On a moving day, they told me that they couldn't find the key for 10' truck and offered me 26' truck for the same price. The problem was I had to take a Safe Insurance as I was told my personal insurance won't cover the big sized truck. I was also uncomfortable driving the big truck. The lady over there says, $79/100 per mile but it's actually $99/100 per mile. I wish the lady over there was polite and patient.

Several items of concern which I had never previously experienced when renting from Uhaul; the exiting mileage was incorrect on the automated contract, the cabin had food wrappers and napkins in it, the check engine light was on, the gas tank was just over half full, and the box part was dirty. Should have known when I looked at the keys and the tag was clearly marked that it was not ready for customer use. Maybe this is just the difference between corpoarate owned/operated locations and independent.

My original pick up location at the pit stop in Montavello al was closed in the middle of the afternoon. We drove an hour round trip to get there and have to be rerouted to the location that we picked up from. I was told by the location that I booked through that they were giving me a $50 credit because of this and I never received it. Will never ever rent from a neighborhood location again. I tried not to this time but was routed to one because of truck availability

This was a very frustrating experience in regards to the drop off. I used a GPS and was looking closely, but still could not find the drop off site. I called the site with the number provided, but it was not the correct number. While sitting on the side of the road speaking with UHAUL customer service representative and asking for a new site, another rented UHAUL drove up to me, also searching for the same location. Ten minutes later we both found the site together, behind a store called Mercantile. It would have helped to know the drop off location was behind the Mercantile as I am from that area and have never seen a UHAUL there. The drop box was also very difficult to find. This was not a good experience at all.

Location seemed clueless. This was a company move. I was told that I had no say in where I could pick up my truck. was given a location that was going to be extremely hard to get too at the time of day I was going to pick up because of interstate traffic. Then I was sent a text at the day before giving me my pick up address and it was a different address from what I was told I couldn't change. when I contacted the location I was told that I could not pick up the truck until 10 am. I was told 8 am at the original location and I had scheduled loaders to be at my apartment at 9 am. This added unnecessary stress to an already stressful situation. The location that I picked the truck up at was very unprofessional. it was so sort of flee market and they were in the process of moving the front office and had disconnected all of the computers just before I got there, knowing that I was coming in they seemed surprised when I walked in. They managed to get me set up using a smart phone after the person waiting on me, the customer, was interrupted at least 15 times with questions from her employees. It was like they had never heard of customer service. If she had just focused on me, the customer, we could have been done with that part in 10 minutes or less. Instead it took a good 20 minutes . walked myself out to the truck. I had to move two trailers by hand myself just to get the truck out from where it was buried. I took the dolly out myself, a young may did load my blankets however I was not informed when he was finished. no one ever walked the truck with me they were to busy with other things. So I got in the truck and drove away, my loaders were waiting.

Make sure to be honest on the gas level in the vehicle before renting to a customer. Also, actually provide the customer with the vehicle they need. I made a reservation over a week in advance and was moved from a 10' truck to a 26' truck. I was scammed out of $180 dollars for not having the renting process acurrately described to me as well as a untruthful contract. It was my first and potentially last time working with Uhaul. I am very displeased with my experience to say the least.

Absolutely horrible experience I have ever had with uhal. Ladies at the computer were new to the program. My reservation was accidentally used and took over an hour to get a different uhaul which it didn't match the milage or gas reserves on the paper. I didn't notice it until after billing because I was in a hurry after the 1 hour delay and still waiting for a response from cooperate office about the 100+ miles I didn't drive.
