Get better local employees. When I picked up the van the lady acted like she didn't want to be there or deal with me. She didn't take me to the van to go over any existing damages or anything. Then at drop off a different lady was there and she refused to get off her personal phone call. She walked out of the building to look at the van and when she came back would not give me a print out of what I was being charged and just told me she emailed it to me. The staff at this location are very unfriendly, unprofessional and need more training.

I made my reservation online only to be called by a representative and told that the vehicle was not at the location where I had reserved it. I was advised I could get the truck from a different location which was further away and ultimately cost me about 10 more dollars than the original reservation. In the business world this is called bait and switch. What's the point of having the website if you're only going to get a call to reschedule.

The original location I was emailed address to did not have the truck available, my reservation didn't matter. Was sent to second location, that didn't have it either, was sent to third location were incompetent personnel overcharged me. When complained, was directed to call corporate. My complaint was recorded and manager was supposed to call me back (5 days later, still no such call). However, same evening I received a call from someone saying that I didn't return the truck!!! When I said that I did, have a receipt with overcharge, person hanged up. Overall horrible experience, my movers were waiting for 2.5 hours while I was trying to get a truck (that was reserved ahead!).

Not only was the uhaul sticky and smelly, I was overcharged. The owner of the place we returned it said we didnt return it on time because the keys were left in the lock box and not returned to him. I called him and told him that was the instructions given when we returned the truck to him around 6:40 that evening. I asked if he remembered us buying chicken from his deli which I still had the receipt as well as it showing up on my debit card. He hung up then had a female store clerk call me back to have me call uhaul. I tried several times to get answers from him but he hangs the damn phone up

I was charged a gas charge when I filled the tank back up to the level it was at when I received the truck, because there was a different person there at the time I returned it and it was marked on the paper showing more gas was in the truck initially than what it had when I picked it up. The employee advised when I picked up the truck is that it was just over the 1/4 tank mark, which it was a few cm over the 1/4 line, but the paper was marked as the gas level being between the 1/4 & 1/2 tank. I had to wait for the associate to lock the door to check the mileage and gas level. I had to wait each time for the associates to check out several people before finishing up my transaction. The truck did not have any mechanical issues, but the interior was not clean.

Truck 3772 is on the verge of breaking down. Drove the truck 26.7 miles, they claim we used 13 gallons of gas and ripped off my son over $75 for some bs gas charge. Truck had 7/16 tank when we left and 7/16 tank when we brought it back. Math just doesn't work folks!!! In addition, they know this truck is a pos...big sign behind counter warning to use locally only. Really??

The truck we rented had over 97000 miles on it and ready for the scrap heap. It smelled of cigarettes and the cab area hadn't been cleaned in a long time.The front plastic portion of the bumper was hanging down and the bumper was badly bent. There were dents all over the cab area with limb scratches on the sides. Couldn't drive it over 50 because of a very very loud noise from the drive line. The mirrors couldn't be adjusted. The drivers seat had a hole with the spring exposed. Both cab doors made noise when you opened and closed them. The rear access door was very hard to open and close. This business should not have a U Haul franchise as the are not friendly or professional. The yard area looked like a trash dump with beer cans and trash scattered all over the yard with uncut grass. Not a single time did any worker do a walk around. When I was in the office checking on my reservation the clerk told a customer to take a picture of the dash and odometer so she wouldn't have to walk outside in the heat. Somebody needs to clean up their act because it makes U Haul look like a they are operating out of a junk yard. Their back fence back up to Keesler AFB and many of the customers are military. This is a neighborhood store that should stick with being a neighborhood store. This is my last visit to this dealer and I will advise all I know to go to another location to rent a U Haul. I would recommend this place to a friend only if they live close by..I was sent from Gulfport to purchase not knowing they would charge me $125.00..I made one trip to my storage and back to the uhaul store..I was shocked plus that was outside of my usual balance from uhaul.

speed your computer system up so that customers do not have to wait so long for the processing of paperwork. I even registered in advance so I would not have to wait so long and yet it still took more than 15 minutes for the young lady to get me through the system. I am anticipating renting a bigger truck this weekend, but don't know if I want to wait any longer

Worst experience ever, I do not recommend anyone to rent from there. I was cheated. They told me $0.69 per mile and when I went to pay they charge $0.99. And had the worst attitude about it too, very rude and disrespectful. I will never rent a truck there again.

First time U-Haul customer. The clerk helping me did not care about a thing. She went through the motions and told me to take the trailer even though the left blinker was out. I felt it was the wrong thing to do but it was my inexperience word against someone that's supposed to know what to do. Second, I did not ask for insurance and was not told that insurance was on the payment. I paid first before she made me sign anything. I believe it was my fault for trusting her work ethic, but then again, it's a two way interaction. I will not recommend that location, but I will recommend the location I dropped of the trailer. They help me set the pick out, hoping it was a good experience. When I brought it back, it was a very smooth transition. Unfortunately she said since I signed for the insurance I would not be able to fight that back. Hopefully someone actually reads this and fixes that clerk. I will not be returning to U-Haul if I get another experience like this. Thank you.

I was over charged person who tried to rent truck to me ran my credit card for $300.00 three times and was declined because I have hold on my account for items over $150.00 and they call me. He then told me I had to pay $300.00 cash and I told him for a 10' truck for one day I had never heard of that much, then he said it would be $100.00 cash and when I asked for a receipt he said the printer was not working and gave back my paper for the truck that I had brought with me. The truck was dirty and not something that uhaul should send out for someone to use and the gas gage showed empty there was paint all over the inside of truck and all over the inside of the back of truck It is the worst time I have every had renting a uhaul truck and I want some one in charge to call my about this. They also over charged me for the mileage since I was to have 12 miles free for picking the truck up in this horrible place with people who were just out to cheat people out of there money The had my credit card number and today I had it changed because I can't trust they won't try and use it since they also said they wanted a copy of my drivers licence. This is not a safe place to send a customer to rent a truck also they could not speak English very well and said the lady that took care of things would be back in a few minutes and I was held ther for 1 1/2 hours waiting to get this truck as soon and I got home I called uhaul and filed a complaint against this dealer #1384627 I talked to Barbie at uhaul Then I found out by my bank calling me that he had tried to run a credit on my card for$300.00 three times. I want someone who can do something about this call me asap UI am going to call my police about him trying to run my credit card Three times for $300.00 cash each time. Thank you Tonie Hulsing
