it was clean but right tail light out.
The location did not have good knowledge of the rental procedure and I was double charged. It took almost an hour to rent the trailer.
Have more than one person working at a location. Especially when they are also the only person working at a convenience store. Over an hour check in time.
The young lady that took the return (Mikki? . . . or Nikki?) did a fantastic job and was extremely friendly and helpful. I needed to drop off the dolly three days before the truck because I could not maneuver them together at the address where I would unload. She made the process quick and simple. I have two more moves to make and would gladly drop off here again.
There was some sort of brownish liquid all over the passenger seat when I picked it up that wasn't cleaned. Floorboards were dirt y. Back of truck we had to use a lead blower on with all the dirt inside. Heavy dirt. Truck had a hair under half tank fuel. I brought it back barely under full tank. Was charged for going over allowed mileage by 21 miles. Almost 9 dollars for that but it had half a tank more fuel than when I picked it up. Pretty unfair if you ask me since half a tank of fuel cost well over 9 dollars. The rental was from pick up to drop off point. Rental doesn't take into effect you are not moving from the pick up spot for to the drop off point. I lived 10 miles out in the country south of the rental pick up and 1 mile East of the drop off point. Allowed mileage should have Bern adjusted for this as well as the extra half a tank of fuel they got. Not fair to the customer otherwise.
This place needs some extensive training
The service at this location was horrifing... They didn't inspect the truck before we rented it and it was full of their insulation from their store, told us to bring it all the way back with our belongings. Which we've now had an allergic reaction to the insulation this it's all over my stuff. Then they charged my card over $300.00 for the rental. The owner of the store was rude and put his finger in my face and yelled at us in front of other customers when we confronted the situation. Never go there again.

Fast and quickly done. This worked very well for me.
Manager did not switch over auto transport order from previous customer to my order, which in turn left us stranded and unable to be located to fix our blowout on the auto transport, leaving us waiting over 1.5 hours for a repairman, which then turned what was supposed to be a 6 hour round trip, into a 12 hour round trip. To pay Station One over $500 in one day just to turn around and be stranded for a significant amount of time 3.5 hours from home on a high temperature day is unacceptable and does not fall under the standard of u-haul and any third party they've chosen to associate themselves and partner with. To be compensated, even partially, would be the LEAST that could be done.
The rentals have to be done from the owners cell phone. His computer dosent work and apparently he is the only one that can rent trailers. Both time I have rented a trailer the Lady's that work there have to call him and you have to wait 20 min or longer for him to show up at the Gas Station to rent a trailer.
I had appointment to pick up vehicle between 7:45- 8:00am. I arrived at 7:55 for pickup. Had to stand around and wait almost 30 minutes for the store clerk to call the owner at home to come and sign truck out to me while I had a crew waiting on me at the job site 5 minutes away. Same problem when I returned the truck- Poor management!
The computer they used for the rentals didn't work. It took the owner and myself using our Cell Phones to complete the rental agreement. Making sure the agents computers are working would be a plus. The owner of the place was friendly and apologetic.
Truck was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The cargo area was filled with degree and trash. Uhaul nickeled and dimed me to death. The $19.95 tagline is a lie. I live in a rural area and ended up driving 99 miles roundtrip to haul one large item. Had the truck 4 hours. It cost $139 plus $20 in gas.

Check in was impersonal and took forever. Manager was using a smart phone to do business instead of a computer while waiting on convenience store customers. I had requested furniture pads but this location had none. I had to use my own clothing to pack our furniture and belongings.
Service was excellent.
The man was very friendly , helped me fill out the incident report when I told him that I had tried to do it on the computer and it kept erasing what I had typed. This place was anything but excellent . Don't pay attention to the questions it wouldn't let me change the ratings. Here they were helpful and friendly.
Experience was great
I was not happy about being charged for an extra day for being an hour late. I picked the truck up at 10am and figured I could drop it off at 10am. Plus I was charged for an extra day of insurance. What a rip off
I wanted a dolly which they didn't have. I also chose a 17 ft truck on line but got there to find out I was upgraded to a larger truck as they didn't have 17 ft. I was charged the higher rate of course. I rented truck for 2 days and only put 6 miles on it. When i went to turn in the truck they tried to charge me additional fees. It was going to be 298.00 give or take. Told e it was enviromental fees. Took almost 45 minutes to get the matter straightened out. I don't know why they were trying to charge additional fees. Sounded kinda shady to me. For that reason I will NEVER rent from that location again. I will tell all my friends as well. I have rented from Uhual 3 times in the last 5 years and this is the only time I have had any trouble. Didn't have what I had requested charged me more and then it was very inconvenient returning. Big thumbs down on this one
The only thing I could suggest for the owner of the business is that when he reserves something like the car dolly as he did for me. That he actually puts it on paper somewhere so he can remember that he reserved this for me. He was completely confused the following day thinking that I had reserved the transport trailer. Even though I made it very clear through for phone calls that it was the car dolly only that I needed. Thank you very much.
I asked about the advertisment on the back of the truck (return it clean and u get $25) got told to call uhaul cause he doesnt do that wjich would of been okay if he didnt seem rude and irrated at me over the phone but the female was very sweet n nice
Don't tell the customer that your hitches are universal. Ask what size ball the customer has and then say whether or not it will work. Have the right tools on hand to swap out balls.
