I am concerned from the received final bill from contract #26012926 which include 1) $20 for after hour service fee and 2) $65 cleaning fees. I need further explanation about both additional fees. I was informed that there was a fees by leaving the truck after hours. Regarding to cleaning fess, I am disputing respective charge as the truck was returned as it was received.VICTOR V.

I was over charged substantially from what my agreement said. I called to rectify and the vendor said he couldn't do anything. On the final invoice, my insurance suddenly went from $10 on my paperwork to $20 when I was charged. And I was charged a random $39 above the agreed $19.95 day rate. Even though I brought the truck back 6 hours after I rented it. Certainly less than the full day I should have been given. So what should have been a $89 final bill was more than $130. There was like no muffler on this vehicle or something very wrong with the exhaust system or engine. It was so loud I felt like I was in a helicopter. It was disturbing to neighbours snd gave me an earache and headache. I have no idea why they thought that vehicle was fit to rent, or why they didn't check on its condition prior to rental. Once I figured out availability, shit was tight honestly. Just needed it to take furniture to the dump, made room for the parents old furniture. It was close to my house and the dump. The only thing that took too long was waiting for the approval. I don't think you should have to locate the vehicle prior to waiting for authorization. Maybe authorization can happen prior, because I was lucky enough for the weather to be nice. If I had to wait that 10 minutes in the rain or cold I would have been pissed. Thanks.Corbin B.

How about not charging people double if they don't use the website to check in. I arrived 6:05pm and the person told me to throw the keys in the box. Next morning I get charged double for everything. Rate, insurance, late fee, environment fee. I paid 270$ for using the truck for 8 hours.HRISTOS P.
The guy running this location is just grumpy and rude and really tries to make you feel dumb. He functions under the impression people rent uhauls everyday and should know everything about the process. To start, apparently showing up 10 mins early for your reservation time is â€œlateâ€ and causes issues with him getting things ready in a timely manner. Also, upon returning my truck, he approaches my window and says â€œis this where you picked up the truck?â€ I answered â€œyesâ€ assuming he meant if I picked up the truck at that uhaul location. He then asks me the same exact question again which really confused me. I guess just because I didn't park the truck in the exact parking spot (there are no clearly defined parking stalls by the way) that it was parked in when I picked it up, he felt the need to give me attitude about it so I would park where he wanted it to be.Philip C.

Provide a legible contract at the time of rental. A printed version of the contract has type so small that few people would be able to read it - the electronic version is useless in that regard. On the way home I filled the gas tank from 3/8 to full ($70+). Had to cancel trip due to unforeseen circumstances, talked to a representative who said I should not be charged. Returned truck (26 total miles) with full tank & furniture pads still in their plastic bags. Still got charged for mileage, daily rental, safe move coverage & pads but got no consideration for the gas, even though I saved receipts. Little wonder the station manager had such a twinkle in his eye when I turned it in. Another point - the driver side door had been sprung and required attention to make sure it closed tight with normal force. Don't expect to be using Uhaul in the future.Ralph Q.
Three separate things. One, the truck was fine, clean, ran fine. Two, the "service" at the location was questionable. Didn't open until 9am, but the owner(?) didn't actually show up until 9:10am, and took 10 minutes to get organized. I was running on a tight timetable, and this was unhelpful. Why didn't I use the "mobile check-in"? I tried, but your website and process ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN. I repeat, YOUR PROCESS SUCKS!!!!! I input all (or I thought all) the information when I made the reservation. However, the evening before picking up the truck, I got a text message asking for all the same information, plus a requirement to upload a picture of the front and back of my license. When I went to pick up the truck, I was asked to input ALL of this information AGAIN (including the pictures of my license), PLUS a whole host of ADDITIONAL information including, and I can't make this up, my PASSPORT INFORMATION. Absolutely, incredibly stupid, cumbersome, unnecessary. Next time, PENSKE, if at all possible. You guys need to get your act together. I can rent rent a car from National by just getting in, firing up, and they process the paperwork (in a couple of minutes) at the check out booth.JOSEPH M.
Poor experience.. I had to wait almost 30mins to pick up the truck. The system at the counter did not work and he was not able to start my reservation. Had to call customer care and talk to agent for 30mins to process my request. Because of which I got delayed by almost 45mins.Manjeet Chayel M.
