The woman at the store was very helpful and very nice. She was a lot of help. She deserves a bonus of some kind or some kind of recognition.

U-Haul dealer Omni Storage IV 801 Turner St Bay Saint Louis, MS 39520 charged my credit card for $230.43 for truck and equipment rental even though I paid U-Haul on line $545.95 including truck and equipment rental. I sent an email to dealer saying I already paid U-Haul and dealer saying dealer charged when I had already paid. Now manager of dealer Lyrae N. Kinchen continues to send me abusive emails expressing her uneducated, untrained and unexperienced opinion. I had another U-Haul rental scheduled for tomorrow July 29, 2017 but I cancelled it because of my experience with U-Haul dealers. I contacted U-Haul customer service but it is useless and can't understand simple English sentences. I have disputed my credit card charges by both U_Haul and Omni and the two of you can figure out who gets paid what amount. Omni U-Haul dealer had no idea of emove or movinghelp.com. Obviously U-Haul dealer relations department does not train U-Haul dealers.

Except for the rent location at 333 Pass Rd, which was closed when I arrived, the rest of the local people, facilities and equipment was great. The person I talked on the phone on Friday, 18 Nov, gave me the wrong location and set me for pick up long before they opened. I specifically asked if the trailer was the big U-Haul store on Pass Rd and she said that it was. When I made the original reservation I was clear that I wanted to pick up the trailer at 0800. The Friday confirmation said 1200 noon so I called and that's when she changed it back to 0800 and confirmed the location as the U Haul store on Pass Rd, Gulfport. Because of the time line I was working under I had to go to Bay St Louis, (25 mi away) to pick up and then return the trailer. It was after 1000 Saturday before I got the trailer then had to drive 50 mi out of my way to get/return it. I was told by the woman in the U Haul store in Gulfport that the woman who assisted me on the phone when I called the 800 number on Friday was in Arizona. I blame her for all of the confusion and extra efforts of everyone here to make right the wrong. Also, why is a thrift shop that doesn't open until noon on Saturday renting U Hauls? They wouldn't even answer the phone when the main Gulfport store tried calling them to get the store owned so I could get my trailer. A very frustrating experience and may have to look elsewhere for my next rental needs. PS...I work on a military base and will not have good things to say about U Haul to my friends who rent often.
