I made my reservation at a storage place and my reservation was changed to a liquor store that I was very uncomfortable at. The Uhaul website said that my reservation was guaranteed but I got a called saying that they changed my reservation and they did not have the equipment I reserved.

The guy who checked out the UHaul to me was rude, and threatened me with a $250 late fee if I returned it late. This was after no communication, and particularly no communication regarding the fact that they wouldn't have the UHaul for the time I specified. If I had known that I couldn't have it for the time specified before I got there, I would have made different arrangements. As it was, I couldn't complete my move with the UHaul. The lady and gentleman to whom I returned the UHaul were polite and officious. I won't be using UHaul again after this move, because this is the second year in a row that there have been problems. If the UHaul wasn't available for the time specified at that location, I would have gone to another location to get the truck. Instead, I am relying on the kindness of friends and strangers to help me finish my move. I would not recommend either this location or UHaul to friends and family.

The cab of the truck had a fowl odor. It took a long time to pick up the vehicle and the person did not know how to complete a one way. The mileage cap was not explained. We requested to pick up in Prairieville and had to pick up in Baton Rouge which added 25 extra miles.

Only negative was that truck was not gassed (by the previous renter). But the people at this shop were very helpful about that and resolved it immediately. The truck was excellent.

Didn't feel safe at this place. And they didn't have furniture pads for me. Avoid this location if at all possible.

There was roaches in the truck and it took me 1.5 hours to clean it I had to go get raid and bleach and water

The store manager was very unhelpful and not willing to communicate about the issues I experienced with my truck. There was apparently a problem with the gas gauge and even after providing a receipt that showed I put 18 gallons of gas in the truck he disputed it. He was very nasty with me until my husband came to help me with the situation. The truck smelled awful and had old peanuts in the cup holder. It was also extremely dusty. I probably won't ever use this location again, mainly due to the poor service I received.

The location was difficult to find as there is no marking on the Chevron station indicating that it is a U-Haul pick-up location. The staff who waited on me was not the nicest. I think they could be more friendly and accommodating.

I am very disappointed in UHaul overall. This is the 2nd time in a matter of weeks that I have used uhaul and I am not satisfied. Both times I have requested to rent the equipment for 2 days and both times I've had to return it early (1 day). Not to mention how rude the person was that I had to deal with at this location. When I called him he told me he was too busy and hung up on me. I have not been able to finish moving. This last time I was charges $59.89 for 24 hours. I was under the impression it was $19.99 a day. And you didn't have a van so I had to use a box truck(higher mileage). I had reserved it for 2 days Fri-Sun and was called on Sat and told I had to return it. I have always used uhaul and now I will be looking for other alternatives. Yge reservation process was horrible I reserved the truck at one location showed up and found out at that time it was switched to another location which I knew nothing about I was informed to call customer service they told me I recieved a ohone call and text which I never received I checked my text and email 3 times and did not see it the representative said well it shows you got it I said well I am looking at it now and I dont she then decided to resend the email out to me mind you I was already informed over the phone of the switch so why send the email now after I drobe all the way over there now having to drive somewhere else

The location was great, HOWEVER the customer service by the scheduling department was the worst I have ever experienced! My reservation was changed without me being notified! I went to the new location and everything I requested was not available causing me to have to go to yet another location to pick up the equipment needed. Only to be told by Kim that a discount was not in order even though your schedulers dropped the ball and did not inform me of the changes! ! I have recently experience tremendous loss due to the flooding here in Louisiana and will need a moving truck in the very near future, but I will NOT be using Uhaul! ! You all have no regard for a customer's time! ! I will make sure that my family, friends, coworkers and all others I encounter know that your customer service is the worst ever....I will be recommending your competitors! !

It doesn't fit with the other rental places in Baton Rouge. I'm not sure whether these locations are ever inspected by a corporate representative, however I think they would be shocked. Especially when you walk in and the first thing you see for sale is a rhinestone baseball cap with the f word on it.
