Excellent customer service with a friendly, helpful owner. They promptly returned my phone call to verify that they had the trailer we needed and helped us hook it up and unhook it upon return. Charges were exactly what was quoted. Hours are great, too. Open 7 days until 6 pm. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but the business itself is great. Highly recommend.

This was a Sunday evening dropoff of my 5x8 trailer. The lot was practically abandoned, with only 2 Uhaul trailers in it. he gate was open. The warehouse on site looked abandoned. The office door was actually open despite there being no one there. I opened the door and called in but there were no answers. It was a bit disconcerting to simply drop the trailer here. I did call the phone # and spoke with a man who said he could monitor the lot and assure no one would come to take the trailer. He was polite.

There was no real signage but I figured I had the correct address since there was another uhaul trailer. Personnel was awesome. Bit odd, nothing to do with this site but there was a rental place a block from where I live that wasn't listed as a drop off location.

I original reserved a rental in Sorrento Louisiana. My wife drove a half hour to Sorrento La only to find they did not have the unit. She drove 1/2 hour back home. I then went to the Geismar location near my home to ask for help where they apologized for the inconvenience and referred me to the Airline location in Prairieville and assured me they had a unit available. I politely asked that they call the airline location to confirm that they did in fact have it on the lot. They did not. I was referred to the Choctaw location in Baton Rouge. I drove 1/2 hour to the Choctaw location in Baton Rouge and I was greeted by a helpful man. I rented a $29 a day unit for two days and a $7 dolly for two days. Upon pickup I asked if I could return it to another location and I was told yes. I returned the unit after a day and a half to the geismar location near my house. After the third day I had not received a receipt and I reached out to the geismar location by phone and was told they indeed did receive the unit and there was nothing further necessary on my behalf and she would send me a reciept for the transaction. She then called after closing time and left a voice message that informed me that I had to come pick up the unit and return it to the original location. I am a honest and calm man so I had my wife and daughter comply with their wish while I was at work. I was charged for 4 days rental. We reserved a truck in Baker, La for 8am. No one called to inform us that they didn't have it and that we needed to go to this location on Choctaw for 11am. I don't think this was the locations fault so much as Uhaul for not informing. The guy was accommodating allowing us to go ahead and get the truck early. Uhaul didnt seem fazed by the lack of communication. But we reserved a dolly and some pads, which they didn't have.

Had very good experiences at both pick up and drop off. The pick up location was easy to get to, in an older industrial/residential area. There was only one guy in the office but he was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. There was only the one enclosed trailer that I had reserved and a few trucks outside and no moving supplies or equipment of any type, but I didn't need any. (The reason for only 4 stars.) I had done the advance payment so we were signed-up, hooked-up, and out of there in a flash! Great service, no problems!

The web site states this location is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. We arrived at approx.. 1:20 P.M. and the place was locked. Had to wait approx. 15 minutes before anyone came out. Service rep. did not check tow vehicle, did not help in any way besides filling out the paper work. We had to hook the trailer up ourselves. Also tried to call this location several times by phone with no response and transferred to a voice mailbox system that was full, so you could not leave a message.
