the representative at barnwell was great,the reservation I had needed to be modified for a different pick up date.the internet site wouldnt do it so I called the 800 number, the representative on the phone couldnt fix it either.he told me the barnwell location didnt have any available car dollies so all he could do was cancel.i told him that I knew they had plenty of them and I would just go to the location and deal with it there.he said my reservation would stay the same.i picked it up as expected on time for a 1 way rental.it was scheduled 3 days I only had it 11 hours.the next morning I got up and had a notification from my bank that the location I dropped it off at charged me again.i called and they couldnt even tell me what I was billed for.when I called the 800 number back they said it's because my 1 way rental was scheduled to drop off where I picked it up.that isnt a 1 way.i showed them my reservation and they said it was a mistake and the charge was for dropping off at another location.then they told me I could have done a normal 1 day and paid 15 dollars to drop it off at a different location. I paid 40 dollars extra for a service I didnt need then got billed another 15.93 for dropping it off where I scheduled. the complaint line told me I was right and put in a request to refund the difference. then 2 days later the barnwell county rep named craig called me with some arrogant bs story that it was all right and I was supposed to pay 120 dollars for a 50 dollar rental.i told him that I had already talked to multiple people from uhaul who all agreed with me.he only wanted to argue.i abruptly ended our call.how rude!!!!who are you to overcharge me,bill me again after I return the equiptment early then tell me to like it.worst customer service ever.btw this is the 5th 1 of these I rented in the last 4 months.all at the same location. get your story straight

No one was at original pick up location and I waited for almost an hour. Call uhaul and they send me to another location another hour away! So that was 3 hours of my day wasted! They give me a $50.00 reservation guarentee. I specifically ask are you sure someone is at this location, and the lady told me yes. I get 5 minutes from the new location, and she calls and tells me oh I'm sorry no one is at that location. So then I'm sent another 30 minutes. But this last location doesnt have the 26' truck I had rent it only had a 20' truck. So I have to rent a cargo trailer. They give me $10 off the trailer! To me that was unacceptable. I shouldn't of had to pay for the cargo trailer or got more than $10.00 knocked off. I get to the new and finally location. I have a prepaid card which I told them when I talked to them. Well being I have a prepaid card I had to put a $50 deposit. I was NEVER told this beforehand so I only had enough to cover the cost of my equipment. So I had to go purchase another card. Finally get that done then get the run around for another hour and half. The dealer then wont answer any of my questions and has a nasty attitude. By the time I FINALLY left with my equipment almost 6 hours of my day was gone. I didnt get to use my $50 reservation guarentee. And I was cut an hour and half short on my time to have the equipment. I left at 1:30 but had to have it back at 12:00. He refused to change the pick up time, and got an attitude! Will not be using uhaul again!!!

I made my reservation by phone and the agent at the 800-number was very helpful I asked If I could get an extra day for the one-way rental and she asked me to hold while she looked into what she could do for me After a brief hold she returned to the line and told me she was able to “sweat talk” whoever she spoke with about the extra day and could have it at no additional charge. She also offered to discount the rental by $30 if I was willing to drop off the truck in a city other than where I was moving and I agreed as it was not too far from where I was going and would be worth the savings. When I arrived at the pick up location the gentleman had my checking information and truck ready. When I reviewed the contract it showed 1 day instead of two as I had been told when I set the reservation. He looked into it in their system and said yeah I see she put the. It’s here that you are getting an extra day and marked that on the printed contract. Inalso noted that I did not agree to the added insurance of $14, but Esther than delay he pickup I agreed to just accept it for the one day charge. I picked this truck up on Friday at About 8:20 am and the drop of location was closed on Sunday Long story short... I returned the truck to the unattended drop off location on Sunday and received an email receipt on Monday with an additional $116 charged to my credit car for 2 additional days of rental and 2 additional days of insurance. The email receipt shows a check in time of 8:00 pm on Sunday I DROPPED IT OFF IN THE MORNING!!! So they added TWO ADDITIONAL days dispite what I had reserved and dispite the fact that the location where I dropped it off was not even open I Sundays HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE in order to make an extra $100+ at my expense Will never use or recommend U-haul again Brad

I was charged for 4 gallons of gas even though I returned the uhaul at the required fuel level. The location says its nothing they can do to refund me even though they clearly see that I should not have been charged for fuel.
