keeping trucks in good repair. Accompany renters to the truck to do a safety inspection. Upon entry to truck rear drivers side tail light was out and the agent had already left.

The pickup location the guy had no clue as to what he was doing or anything about the trailer. The trailer must of been used to haul firewood as it had dirt and tree bark all over it. I was supposed to be given 2 extra days to which I did drop the trailer to the Uhaul in Flagstaff, Az. Now I see I'm being charged for 3 extra days for $60 plus tax. This is ridiculous, and I shouldn't have to pay this with the headache I went through of getting it. I was to pick up in Portage, WI, but they didn't have a trailer, so I went to Baraboo, WI instead. The pick up location didn't even have change, so the guy asked me to drive 3 blocks to a gas station to get change for him. I'm not happy one bit over this experience other then the trailer made it to AZ with no issues.

They didn't have the equipment I reserved online, so they gave me a trailer twice the size. I didn't receive any help hooking up the trailer to my vehicle (I am 5'4" and the trailer weighs ~2,000lbs). Details of the rental were not explained adequately which lead to an extremely stressful day.

The check in on my mobile phone did not expedite my check in. In fact, it made it much slower. For whatever reason, it would not verify my selfie with my license picture, so after taking the time to fill in the first four parts, I still had to have an employee finish the application.

Gas gauge record was not correct (5/8 in tank, 3/4 on record). I phoned it in and took a picture. The drop off location had no record of this, and had no way of handling the problem. I ended up having to pay for the extra gas ($12) in order to not get charged penalty.

The truck defrost stopped working on my trip up. It was a huge hazard and extreamly unsafe. I had to stop multiple times to get the windshield cleaned off. The truck was in terrible shape. And there was no one at the drop off location for me to talk to about the issues. I'm very disappointed and will be taking my business elswere. The vehical conditions were horrible.

The equipment seemed well maintained, but the cab was not clean (mud on the driver's side floor and bug covered windshield). The confirmation listed regular open office hours for the site, so I was a little concerned when I arrived and the office was closed. The owner did arrive at 4:01pm for a 4:00 appointment, but I would have liked to have known for sure that he was going to be arriving.

Overall I had to sit at the rental location because there wasn't an employee there then calling in about a previous unsatisfied reservation has been a nightmare. Uhaul's customer service department is unbelievably awful. One person told me that my card was refunded the $50 reservation guarantee then another rep told me they mailed me a check on 5/28, the next rep told me she didn't know what I was talking about and hung up the following rep Theresa told me that it's a certifcate that's supposed to be emailed to me. So which is it refunded card, mailed check it emailed certifcate? This nightmare has wasted my day and further upset me to the point where I would like a full refund because I think uhaul failed at their job and I will never rent from nor recommend them to anyone.

I was disappointed when I got there that the gas tank was in 1/2. When I booked I input 140 miles, so before leaving I had to stop and add gas. Wondering why it wasn't full prior to departing??? The service was good.

Had pick up time of 4pm. Called to let them know that I would not be there until 4:30pm - left a message because of the three times I called there, no one answered. When I arrived at 4:30 the place was closed (even though it's online hours post that it's open until 5pm). I received a call and asked if she got my message, she said yes, and that she waited 20 minutes past the pickup time (even though on my message I said I would be there at 4:30 which is when I arrived). Beside for the poor communicating - everything went fine once she arrived.

I was not contacted ahead of reservation date for confirmation of pick-up site. Scheduled pick-up site was learned from website but it did not have a truck available upon arrival so reservation was transferred to new location. No one was on site at new location and once contacted they had not been notified that a pick-up was scheduled/transferred to their location, leading to further delay in accessing vehicle.

Nice place and you can get in and out fast but no one inspected the trailer and I didn't receive a receipt or anything. The staff just told me to take it over to the lot next door and I was good to go. I just have never traveled alone before and wanted to make sure I had everything done perfectly so no one checking anything or giving me confirmation of drop off was a bit unnerving.

I brought back my uhaul at 500pm, When i picked it up it was filthy in both front and back with sawdust and mud.i was very disappointed at charge for use- I did not even go 60 miles

I was told that I would be eligible for a refund but when I dropped the truck off Apparently I was lied to. Due to that lie I went over budget and couldn't afford anything else for my move 2 hours away in Milwaukee. This is the 2nd time I used u haul and the 2nd time I was lied to.

Either the contract had the wrong equipment # placed on it or the rep gave me the wrong keys, which caused issues for them finding the truck after we dropped it off (after-hours) at our destination. Despite this, the service was friendly and I would still recommend them as I understand mistakes happen.

Make sure that people booking it are aware that it is on a specific appointment. We were under the impression that the truck was available as soon as 8AM, whereas the person here called and said it was an actual 8AM appointment. We worked it out, but we felt bad and I'm sure he wasn't happy to have his time wasted either.
