They didn't have the truck I reserved then said my reservation was at another location to avoid paying the 50 dollars. Then they gave me a van and significantly misrepresented the gas gauge. After I told them about it they changed it but still said it was three quarters when it was just over half a tank. These people should not be trusted.

The supervisor there is so un-accommodating, it's ridiculous...I reserved a truck the night before and got a confirmation number...well when we got there he wouldn't let us get the truck because a different person was driving than who was paying....this has never been a problem in the when we finally got everything straight he didn't go over the mileage, the gas, or anything which is supposed to be agreed upon in the contract...he just turned the truck on and ran inside...worst experience with uhaul I have ever when we returned the truck the lady there was very nice and she said that she couldn't understand why he wouldn't let us get the truck say for instance someone is moving so they reserve a truck and use their card, however they aren't driving the truck the laborers are...there are plenty of different situations where this could will I refer the uhaul on falls rd in Baltimore, md to my family or friends? NO Will I rent from them again? NO...just inadequate customer service, even from the regional person I talked too, she was rude and dismissive...I don't know if you are hiring Parolees or something but the quality of service has sunk way below acceptable in my eyes and all parties involved...So I am sorry for the long drawn out statement, but this is what we felt...and I plan on making a formal complaint...

The woman who was the SOLE worker there did a dynamite job. Polite, fast, efficient despite being the only person at the location and it being 20 minutes from closing time. Please give her a raise. (FYI, we have never met this woman before.)

I was charged for paint being wasted on the floor bed of the U-Haul when I had insurance on the truck. I made several attempts to contact someone at the Fall Road location and kept getting the persons that were answering the phone for this location. They could not tell me anything.

Place a rubber boot around the Hitches on your 10ft trucks. I've hit my leg 3 times in the same location from the hitch!!!! Have scat and blood to prove to you! Thinking about consultant an attorney!!!!

This location was incredibly friendly, personable and accommodating. If they weren’t so expensive I would recommend them to everyone. I rented out a two day 15ft truck for a short distance move that I made multiple trips. I got hit on the back end with a mileage fee which cost me an additional $150+ that I was not expecting which I was told was due to the holiday causeing trucks to be in demand because of a fed ex and uhaul shortage for delivering online shoppers cyber Monday bargains. Moving sucks and is expensive. Had I known I’d be paying this outrageous fee I would have saved my self the trouble of moving myself and hired movers. Your customer service is great uhaul but your ripping people off. Never again will I use your service and to all who read this I recommend hiring a company to move your belongings. The couple extra bucks will be well spent.

Excellent experience!



Have the truck available when picked up or call and inform that the vehicle is not available. Also, better communication between employees. When I arrived, the vehicle was not there and I had to leave. This put me severely behind schedule. Then, David called and told me to return the van which I had only because my truck was not in. Later, it arrived and I returned the van for a truck which interrupted my entire day.

I had a load and was told that it does not fit into the truck. I measured it and it did fit. I was than told to come back at 6:30PM. I arrived 12 min early and was told to come back at 6:30 - no trucks available. ( There were several on the lot and no truck was returned between 6:18 and 6:30, while I had to wait.) I returned at 6:30 and had no problem getting a truck from the back. The responses from the attendant were curt, unpleasant and far from accommodating, as if he did not want to rent out a vehicle. Isn't that your business. If you are sold out, I'd understand, was not so. Sometimes a smile, a kind word, or the willingness to make it work for a customer, who had to come back 3 times, would make good business sense. Sorry, but I did NOT feel that anyone cared nor that a professional adult was working there.
