The employee at location had difficulty communicating to me how I needed to get a code so he could issue the key. I had extreme difficulty navigating the online account and after 2 phone calls with a 10 min hold each, then told to download app. Was going around in circles and very frustrating.

I had to check myself in from my phone while standing at the counter. The process was completely inefficient AND then I had to clean literal garbage out of the truck. This was disgusting, totally unprofessional, and an unbelievable waste of time. I'm incredibly disappointed.
The personnel at the location were not knowledgeable and proved unhelpful ... the location was poorly marked with Uhaul signage. Internet service was very spotty causing numerous attempts to upload photos. Very frustrating
It took over 30 minutes to get the keys form the UHaul owner. We had technical difficulties, and rather than working together on it, the owner blamed me for incorrectly filling out the paperwork. Furthermore, I found the UHaul representative discriminatory and rude. I am an Asian American. When he asked me where I am from, I responded, America, and he replied back "No... Where are you really from," thus signifying that because of my skin color, I can't be a true American. I would never go to this location again .Unprofessional and took forever..
Let the customer know that the charge is NOT for 24 hours, just 4 hours. I was charged for 2 days for 5 hours of use.
Provide customer with a text message or other form of communication confirming that the truck reserved is actually available. I received confirmation that a reservation for a specific size truck was made, but I still wasn't sure that a truck specific to my reservation was there for me. I arrived at the agreed upon pick up time but hoped for the best that a truck was there.
Nice lady inside but didn't know how to log truck back in. I ended up doing it on my phone. Not a big deal really.

Make sure truck is working before renting it. I had to go 1 mile up the street to get a jumper for the truck battery.
Operator was very rude to me . Initial i went to the wrong location when i arrived which was 5mins after my appointment time he was very condescending and nonchalant . Saying it's not his problem i was late for at the wrong location . Overall he was unprofessional
The truck was fine and ready on time. But I had ordered a flat moving dolly when I ordered the truck 2 months previously and received a message 24 hours before pickup that the truck and dolly would be waiting for me. When I arrived, I was told there was not dolly. I then drove the truck to another UHaul location nearby and was told they didn't have a dolly either. The representative (who was there with a second rep and on other customers in the store) gave me an 800 tel number and said I could call to see if they had another dolly somewhere in Baltimore for me to pick up. I was already getting behind schedule, didn't have time to drive around Batlimreo looking for a dolly. (Rather than hand me a 800 number, the rep should have made the call himself!). Not having dolly meant I couldn't pick up all the heavy objects (e.g., queen size mattress, dressers) I needed such a dolly for in the time I had. I now have to drive back from DC to Baltimore to make a second round trip to get the items I wasn't able to get the first time, costing me a day of my time and the cost of renting a second truck.
Just easy everything was smooth even the clerk at pick up and drop off was helpful and polite

The right mirror on the truck did not hold its position. When you hit a bump, the mirror would readjust and become worthless.
I returned the truck after hours via my phone.
I ordered a dolly and this location did not have a dolly.
I had to choose details for my trip (drop off location, etc) that I had already chosen again. The furniture blankets I had requested were not present. I didn't get the impression uhaul had passed along my older info, or the details of my purchase, to the gas station worker I interacted with. I doubt that he even had blankets at his location. Uhaul seems to mismanage/not even manage their services by putting their trucks in locations separate from their actual stores.
The car had the previous drivers food trash inside. The gas meter was lower then what he quoted on the paper. He also never notated any damages like I requested. When I told the associate about the trash and the gas level he just said â€œokâ€. Ridiculous.
we had a reservation but the person at the station where we picked up the truck didn't know how to check us out since we were dropping off in another state so it took quite some time for the check out process.
