I’m not typically one to file a complaint with a company, but I would like a refund or cost adjustment of some sort after my experience. Bad delays and slow service because only one person was working. Inventory that I had confirmed earlier in the week was available at that location ended up not being available at the location and I had to go to a separate location for supplies after getting the truck. It ended up delaying my moving plans and I had to pay an additional two hours to the moving service to cover their additional time spent.

windshield was cracked right at eye level and the proprietor would not give us another truck despite having 2 more right there on the premises He claimed they were for local rentals only. he was willing to find us another truck but that would have necessitated us having to go to yet another location. rental was picked up NOT at the location originally requested which was already an added aggravation.

Made us wait for over an hour. Nobody was at the office. Couldn’t perform necessary required computer input of the Uhaul portal to rent the truck in a timely fashion. Redid the rental agreement multiple times. No supplies were available on premises had to purchase at a third party. Store location is not ideal for two Anglo’s in a predominantly racial area. Felt unsafe after comments and racial slurs were said while we waited. Thankful I’m 6’1” 245lbs. And Grew up in Chicago and it was still daylight.

The entire experience was awful. The location had one person and the system was down. I did express check in and it still took me 45 minutes to check in. Never again will I use this location.

They took money out of my account . When I dropped off truck I specifically asked any charges or anything. The person said no you are fine!! I left didn’t not sign anything told I didn’t owe anything. Next day they took 54.23 out of my account . 14.99 for over mileage whuch is ok ! But 38.00 for gas when gas is 339 I asked do I need to fill it up he said no it was over 3/4 tank .

I had to change locations because the original location said that I couldn’t pick up the truck without someone there. I then called customer service and repeatedly was given the run around and dealt with very unhelpful people. I finally was a able to talk to someone that helped me (a.k.a did their job). I finally got my truck and hour and a half of complete non sense. I ended up being stuck in rush hour traffic which was the exact thing I was trying to avoid with my first reservation time. I would highly recommend retraining to people to ACTUALLY help people rather than give the run around and waisted people’s time. I will not recommend U-Haul 24/7 truck service to anyone because of this experience.

It was the WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD RENT FROM YOU. I will NEVER RENT FRIM UHAL again. How you rent a truck on Wednesday get charged and get recharged on Saturday da hell!! The Worst!!!

I am very unhappy with my Uhaul experience. I wasn't informed prior to coming into the location that part of my order wasn't available at the site. I ordered 2 dollies in addition to the truck. When I arrived at the location, there was only one person working. He was both helping customers and running outside to clean the trucks as people dropped them off, which made our wait longer than necessary. On inspection of the truck, the gas gauge was 1/4 tank less than was shown on my contract. It was corrected with a pen mark after I pointed it out but had I not, I would have been responsible for adding more gas than I should. He didn't correct it in the computer saying that it will change the rental agreement or something to that effect. The truck was not clean. There was a half of a hand rolled cigarette in the cup holder. As I was about to leave my house for my destination in the rented Uhaul, I was pulled over by a police officer for having a faulty brake light. I believe it was the right side. He let me go with a warning after I let him know that I would take the truck right back to the location. During this stop was when I realized that I wasn't given any paperwork other than the equipment contract. I am normally given the Uhaul brochure/folder and all of the paperwork is placed in there. I was refused a refund for a faulty truck that should not have been rented. Unfortunately, I filled the truck up with gas prior to finding out about the brake light. The store owner told me that I had to contact Uhaul about a refund once I turn the truck in and that he wasn't obligated to fulfill that. He initially gave the wrong phone number for me to call and when a friend dialed the number and put the phone on speaker, the owner corrected himself and gave the right number. All in all, I am not happy with my rental experience from equipment to customer service. I will not go back to that location. I called to file a formal complaint.

The guy store owner was awful. The fact that I still remember how terrible this guy was after 2 months ago should tell you something. He showed up late and he and had me and other customers waiting a long time. I was waiting over an hour before I got my truck. Also, he did not provide me with the paddings that I was suppose to get for my truck. He didn't show any accountability, instead he was blaming me for his own issues. I would not recommend this guy to my worst enemy. I normally don't write feedbacks but you guys really need to reevaluate your guy. He does not know how to treat customers.
