The guy was kind and courteous but he lied on my mileage to keep all my money he said that we where surpose to fill the truck over a quarter of a tank and that's where we had it but when we brought it back then he said that it was surpose to have been less so I had. Over a quarter of a tank but back in it so I was surpose to get me some of my money back , so I feel uhal is really a big get over they kept my money every time w I was give

I rented a truck and was provided a truck that was not in the best condition. I experienced difficulty with using the key to start the truck and to unlock the doors. This was time consuming and it was difficult. I thought that I may have needed to contact the agent to request another truck due to the truck being loaded. Restarting the truck was a very difficult experience. It was astonishing to me due to experiencing no difficulty when the agent started the ignition for me , prior to pulling off the lot. This was indeed the first time an agent has started a truck and left it running for me to drive off of their lot. I thought at the time he was just being courteous and a gentleman. However, it became clear that he was knowlegeable of the difficulty that I would experience with restarting the engine. This happened also after unloading and putting gas into the truck. Additionally, due to having to lock the doors, it took a significant amount of time to regain access. In addition, the truck via muffler or something underneath was leaking water. I rented the truck for 8 hours. Due to it's condition and the difficulty I experienced, I felt compelled to return it asap, without completing my moving project. I did not feel comfortable driving a vehicle in that condition. My fear was built around the possibility of being stranded, unable to complete my moving project within a timely matter. Upon my return, I explain the situation to the agent, who did not appear to be too concerned. He simply explained the problem incurred due to a newly cut key. This information should have been provided to me prior to assigning this particular truck to me. As a returning customer to this site and a continued faithful customer to U-Haul, following all of the rules and regulations required of me to continue to utilize your rental services. It is my hope that you value me as a customer, and would prefer that I continue to do business with U-Haul rather than taking a chance on loosing my business to another company. Due to the inability to complete my moving project, I now must rent another vehicle to complete it. In an effort to prevent other customers from experiencing unnecessary difficulties as this, please warn them prior to driving the truck off the U-Haul lot of any problems with the rental, as this is an unfair practice that is time consuming and proves to be a financial imposition for customers. Common courtesy is needed and always required in the building and maintaining of customer/retailer business relationships. Personally, I do not desire to continue doing business with any untrustworthy agent/service. Respectfully,

It should be necessary that if you notice charged still due on rental to CONTACT the renter and Not charge their account without notice. You don't know what bills or responsibilities are set and it's not professional. I was upset to notice charge appear and it makes me feel unsecure to knoe my credit card is still availavle to just charge anytime.

The complain is about the gas filled in the tank when car was taken. BY the documentation: 1/4 of tank, but actually it was 1/8 and less. But my husband does not speak English and had no chance to explain the situation and get it fixed. Usualy when we take car it is with full tank, and should be returned with full. This moment is tricky and not right.
