The whole process of renting a trailer is too time consuming, especially when you have filled out all the info online. With only one counter person, it is redundant to redo everything that has been done ahead of time.

The truck had graffitti on the side of it, it was nearly empty on fuel and the windshield was so dirty that I was thanking Jesus that I was driving AWAY from the blinding morning sunshine glare which would have compounded my problems of seeing out of the front window until I could get to the nearest gas station with a squeegee! Really? Your customer service folks at the desk (who are so warm and helpful and professional) have to stand behind a product like that? Gassing up the tank and cleaning the windshield are such easy fixes. The graffitti is unacceptable.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the truck not having any fuel appon pickup but they made galiant attempts to make things good. Over all A+ service both staff and equipment. Would highly recommend doing business with them

I was given a really dirty pick up. I was told it only gets washed and cleaned when up for maintenance. Inside cabin smelled like cigarettes and I have asthma and cant be around smoke or smoke scent. When driving the back end of the truck would vibrate a lot. When returning the vehicle no one was outside to check out returned vehicles and when I called to reach someone within office no one answered and the answering representative couldn't do anything he said. Understaffed compared ro other uhauls.

Bakersfield Uhaul on Chester. When I arrived Fiday am at am I payed for my 15' truck and aoto transport. Frank who was outside assured me that there was a sister tank of fuel, there was not. I said him it was not at a quarter he responded" but it's close" He wasn't paying for gas I was. The wi shield was very dirty and had multiple bird droppings on it. When I.got the truck to my home to load I opened the back door to discover dirt and pennies strewn a cross the floor. I had to borrow a neighbor's broom to swear the entire bed and discovered 11 pennies, dirt, and a melted crayon. When O went back Fra k was gone but I will say Carlos was very helpful. Then when I returned the truck and transport to Uhaul Riverside I see on the check in sheet there is a $25 charge for returning a truck dirty. What a poor example of customer service. My husband was cursed at by an employee! I was very upset and was not able to complain the young man who did come to help after the disrespectful employee, said he just wanted to stay out of it... Extremely unhappy!

Inspect the trucks I’m a 25 year old girl and I rented a 15 size truck for my move to Vegas and I put my trust in you guys to give me a safe truck. As I’m driving in the middle of the night because it’s safer for me . The truck breaks down 3 times! The battery cord was loose and warn out and kept coming off. Now I’m not a mechanic nor was there one in the truck with me so if I could figure this out on my own right away. Why wouldn’t the employees? Because as soon as you turn the truck off the battery dies so in order to get it on you have to attach the cord to the battery again. My problem is the first time is shut off I was driving on the freeway and the truck completely turned of as a semi truck was behind me and the truck shut off almost causing me to get hit. Lucky the semi noitices in time but swerved into the next lane. And was able to because I decided to leave at night. Had I left during the day while the traffic is busy who knows what would have happen. I called the location to let them know what was happening and honestly it sounded like they could care less. Is there inspections on theses trucks before the use of them ? Because this is unexpectable and very dangerous. I would like to hear back and I do want a refund because this is clearly a mistake that had to have been known. And some serious damage could have been done due to carelessness

Contract was not explained, information was not given to customer. Vehicle check was not performed. Additional equipment was not available within 200 miles, ie vehicle tow rack. Clerk was rude and even upset with customer for asking to add a driver And change drop off time that was shorted to customer in the first place. Worst experiance ever! *vomit*

It was all easy and convenient but the inside driver area wasn’t very clean.Needed to be wiped down.Also when I tried to order online it added things to my order and when I tried to delete them it deleted everything and I had to start over several attempts before I gave up and just called.The guys were helpful and overall easy experience.

The trailer rental was fine. the staff was very friendly. my only concern was that I bought a tarp from the store and it fell apart half way through my trip and the mgr. would not refund my money. she said she would send me a email with a credit for my next rental but I never got it.

I was guaranteed a price by a customer two weeks before initially booking my uhaul. When I went back, I was told that was not true and the best they could do was $50 off the regular price- not what I was told. Then they had a problem with the computer system and we waited FOREVER to book. I should have booked from home online and paid the extra $50. Ridiculous.
