The location is in a bad part of town but was very close to my moving area which saved me mileage. The two young men who assisted me did an excellent job. I would give great ratings for this site due to personnel but not for the site itself

you need to Improve the early check-in. Although I completed the early check-in, upon my arrival at the pick-up location I had to do everything again so it was a waste of my time.
The truck was clean but had a lot of cosmetic issues inside and out.
Please make sure your uhauls have gas so the next customer doesn't run out 8 minutes into the drive and get stranded.
I had to return to get a different appliance dolly as this one was non-functioning. This is the second time I have rented from this facility to have broken or non-functioning equipment. Last time it was trailer lights that kept failing. This location is a joke!!!
There was only one employee working when I went to return my equipment. I waited in line for over an hour.
The service was quite poor and the computers were slow. When I came to pick up the truck, it took 20 minutes, even though there was nobody ahead of me in line and I was already checked in. The associate also forgot to give me the dolly I ordered, which made my move a lot harder. When I came to drop the truck off, the associate at the desk was not wearing a mask, and did not even acknowledge my presence as I waited for 10+ minutes while he (very slowly) helped the customer ahead of me. Very frustrating.
On the Uhaul website it stated that they guarantee the truck that I selected at the location I was to pick up the truck at or they would credit $50 towards the account. I arrived at the location to pick up the truck and there was no 26' box trucks available, so already we were off to a bad start. I settled for a 20' box truck which was to small for all of our stuff but I took what I could get. After finishing the check in process I was told that there was a 1/2 tank of gas in the truck. After the walk around check of the truck (which was absolutely filthy) I got into the truck and started it up. The gas gauge was all the way empty and the dashboard said zero miles to empty. I for sure didnt have enough gas to make it to the gas station. So I went back inside and the told the manager the situation (she was very nice and professional) and she told me to pull the truck around back and she put 5 gallons from a gas can in the truck to get me to a gas station. For my inconvenience she said she would discount 20 cents for each mile I drove. I had the truck rental for 12 hrs but finished early and returned the truck (cleaner and with more gas than when I received it). The Uhaul staff had a line of customers when I arrived so I did the self checkout/return on my smartphone. The total was $79 and some change. I wanted to ask about the $50 guarantee but did not have time to wait in the line of about 5 customers. A staff member approached me at the very end after I was done with the return to pull the truck around back and he was not friendly at all (zero customer service). I chalked it up to maybe him having a bad day dealing with all the customers at the counter. I have rented many Uhauls in the past and will continue to do so when in need but will absolutely never rent from this one again even if it means driving out of my way. I don't recommend this location. On a side note I want to say the "General Manager" was very friendly and polite. She was doing what she could to make all these bad situations better. Unfortunately for me it was a bad experience to add with all the stress of moving.
It was exceptional great service
While the location may not be "ideal", the staff are extremely helpful. They truly understand the term customer service. They were all courteous, they fixed the minor errors on the spot, they were polite and they helped make our rental experience hassle free. If it weren't for the location, and aging facility, I would have rated the "location" excellent.
You can promote the young blonde gentleman who helped us check out. He took an experience that could have been terrible on a extremely hot day and turned it into a wonderful experience that showed he cared. He was on top of things and worked to help me and other customers in the store. He showed terrific management skills. I wish I had gotten his name, but please make note of his abilities and promote this employee.
General manager Heather was the most unprofessional employee I have EVER delt with in any business in my whole life I will never use UHAUL again and will be sure to tell every single person I know about my experience cant believe such a foul person can represent such a well known company
I do not like having to use my phone to complete a walk around of the unit I am renting. There is always a problem with your website, Should be a physical sheet and have U-Haul staff confirm. Also, the internet is very bad at this location. Even your employees have issues!!. The vehicle was missing 13 lug nuts.

I had rented a van for my needs for a fee days...on my trip I had ran out of gas relying on the gas garage and the dash display telling me that I had so many miles left in the gas tank until empty, well I ran out of gas... A good Samaritan assisted me with a can of gas but the gas would not go into the tank because the filler neck needed a special funnel to allow the gas into the tank... I called U-Haul road side assistance...They where absolutely NO help at all...getting frustrated with the assistant, I hung up with them...I finally got in touch With someone who knew about these vans and had the proper funnel to allow the gas into the tank... So frustrating...useless U-Haul roadside assistance...
The street address of this location is convenient and the employees were polite, but the unexpected extra security required was not appreciated. Early morning calls out of the blue on a Sunday morning to three personal references was ridiculous.
There was debris (marijuana leaf) from the last renter in the trailer. I had to sweep it out myself. The trailer lights were not functioning at the time of pickup and faltered several times during my rental. The trailer floor also felt like I was going to fall through. I think this trailer should be retired.
I return my uhaul using their 24/hr drop off drop box. Took pictures like I was supposed to, filled in mileage, was owed 26. Dollars. It asked me if I wanted to pick up my money or have it mail. I selected pick it up, now I'm being billed all kinds of bullshit. For what? I went 30 some.miles where I paid for 70 just to be sure. Returned the truck with MORE gas than o started with. What the hell uhaul. I used to refer everyone to you. I will never use your services again

Excellent manager, no improving needed
I'm not sure what to think, i had a great experience at the facility. And prior to arriving it was only a $ 27 charge and after arriving with a full tank only using the van 1 hr and deciding to get insurance coverage which was more than the truck itself. And only going 6 miles over my estimated mileage i payed $ 50 more than Expected. And it's terrible to have used the truck only 2 hr and having to pay more than the Actual truck itself. So I'd say no, I'd rather not refer anyone to U-Haul ! Due to a poor financial experience.
The online pickup wasn't working so we waited 40 minutes to talk to the one guy working inside who knew nothing about the automated checkout. Seems to me if you're going to offer that you need to have at least one employee on site trained to trouble shoot. After waiting the 40 minutes, another employee came back from break and tried manually checking out the truck, but it wouldn't let him since it was seeing it as an online pickup. Thankfully it finally went through, but your online tech support never responded and your 1-800 number had a 20 minute wait as well. We got our truck an hour later than we'd planned which delayed us moving and inconvenienced those who were helping us. I don't think I'll use U-Haul next time I need a truck for a "quick" move.
Hello, they should have people who also speak Spanish, I think next time I will look for a company that has bilingual staff, and their system does not identify a frequent customer, each time you have to do the same process, wasting time on the same questions, U-haul should be updated by assigning a code or something like that to make the process faster, thanks.
