The original confirmed order was not in the system when I arrived. The attendant placed a NEW order and estimated $69. The actual cost was $96 because the attendant made errors on the second contract. Overall service was confused and disorganized and had trouble with your computer process. Fortunately a truck was available to replace my 1st "lost" confirmation. Just a disappointing experience.

After careful review and analysis of what I was transporting I reserved a 17' box truck and was told to take a 15' box truck. That required me to tear down more than 1/2 of the bundles of material and repack the truck with individual pieces rather than the full pallets. I returned the truck prior to said drop of time with more fuel than it was rented with and no credit was given for the additional fuel to offset against the mileage used. Hand truck and blankets were not used but unfortunately are security tagged right up at the door rather than at the overhead compartment and out of the way of loading the truck.

I rented a truck based on the wet weather that we would be having. My original plan was to just take runs back and through with our truck, however with all the rain, we decided not too. Unfortunately, after moving, I found that the truck's roof leaked and saturated 15 boxes of clothes. The worst part is that my washer and dryer haven't arrived yet. This situation will focus me to go to the laundry mat to wash and dry my clothes. I called to explain what happened and asked that I wanted a reduction in my rental, but at first, all I got was a sorry. Towards the end, I got a small discount. Not sure if I will use U-Haul again. FYI: the Budget Truck that I also rented didn't have an issue

The location I picked up was not my requested location and was 15 miles away from my requested location which caused me to go over the mileage that was allowed, causing me to be charged again. The location I picked up from did not have any of the 4 pieces of equipment I requested either and I had to go somewhere else to rent them. Absolutely terrible experience and I will be sure to let all of my social media followers (15,000 of them) know how terrible U-Haul is!

I reserved a U-Haul two weeks prior and got a phone call a few hours before pick up saying it was not available. Not good when you have realtors,laborers homeowners, ready for the day and time. I will probably look into the Enterprise rental trucks! Next time.

Rate quotes. Initial conversations had no mention of mileage allotment, just day rates. All charges should be transparent up front so the customer can plan accordingly.

When I arrived to pick up the trailer, I was asked if I could hook it up myself. I said yes. I went out to try to hook it up and it was in a little rut. I went into ask the clerk for help, he cam out to help me. On the way out he said, "I tried to move it out to the front for you but I couldn't move it out of the rut by myself". Clearly if a healthy 20 something couldn't do it by himself, he should have just come out and helped me

There seems to be breakdown in communication between central UHaul and Ayer. I had reserved a 17' truck. My Ayer email confirmation email said 15', I called and spoke to two people to clarify (one at 866-700-5545) was assured I was getting a 17'. At pickup in Ayer, only a 15' was available.

I always have a great experience with Ayer U-Haul. Great family owned business Maybe have a better rate for long term rental such as 3days a week for 3or more weeks.
