Although I would recommend this location for convenience, they didnt do the greatest job in providing full customer service . It's been my experience that a Uhaul representative would pull the truck under the canopy so that I can examine the truck for damage. What this location did was give me the sheet to indicate damages and walk outside to the gravel parking lot. It wasn't far. It was only 40-50 yards. I do the walked around and noted the damages (long scratch and gouge). When I returned to the office, the agent asks me to initial that I acknowledge the truck cab was clean. I told him I was unable to do that since he kept the keys and said he'd hold it in the office til I returned. He then hands over the key and instructs me to go back bbn outside and inspect the cab then return back to turn in paperwork. Annoyed, I asked him why they dont pull the truck up under their canopy like every other uhaul location does that I've rented from. He replied, "we would but we're understaffed so we cant." At that very moment I was the only customer and he had another representative sweeping and the 2nd one sitting at the next register starting at me. Scoffing i walked away and went to inspect the cab.

Originally I had a guarantee to pick up at the Kirkland location and it was moved 30 miles aways. The people at Kirkland are horrible. I went there several time to buy supplies and work out the rental details. Each time I felt mistreated. Because of this and having to pick up the truck from a location so far away I will never do business with Uhaul again. I feel like I should be compensated for loos of time and having to pay to pack the truck near my downtown condo, because you could not accommodate a location near by

Would just like to say that management and staff at this location and the one at 5110 Frontage Rd NW are the best. Even with computer problems and long lines of antsy customers in line they were patient and professional. Very good customer service even with call-in I queries while they were busy with customers at the counter.

Please note: My comment is not about your staff. It is about Uhaul policies. I was amazed and confused when I learned that the Uhaul location that was my first choice, could not rent me a one way rental on the day of my choosing because, even though they had said rentals, they chose to rent to one way rentals because they made more money. This was inclusive of not having any "real" customers, but withholding your trucks because of your incredible greed and avarice. It didn't matter that you had no customers for your one way rentals...The fact that came home to roost was that I, the customer was expendable. Well, let me inform you, I am not, and never will be!! You have made a strategic mistake of the first order. I intend to inform every one that I know about your "policies." I needed your truck on the first...not the second. Thanks SOOOOO much!! NOT!!! Uhaul will not get a good recommendation from me. If I can, I will go to your competitor. And no, don't blame your staff. It's managements fault, plain and simple. You are NOT to big to fail. Some of the trailers were in Bad condition. I rented 4 times this month. 08/11, 08/18, 08/25 and 09/01. The trailer of my 08/11 was in bad condition. I'm sure you know when you look at them. Please check inventory and migrate all the old and beaten trailers out of service.
