Equipment was rented with broken glass all over entire interior of vehicle and not cleaned. I suffered cuts and scrapes due to broken glass in vehicle and had to return this vehicle to a different location due to the unsafe location of Plaza Coin Laundry. Please read reviews on this location as it is noted several times about this being an unsafe location. Was charged $250 for taking this to a safe location, instead of original drop off location that I'd been mugged and robbed if I had returned to. Completely unacceptable and completely dissatisfied.

Kudos to the representative that rented me the truck! She was AWESOME ??

I was charged for pads - none available. Lady who checked me in was very nice - but had trouble removing items - that I had to pay for. Printer didnt work - out of ink. this location was the only place I could get a truck. So I was happy to get the truck. Needed one very badly.

This U-Haul location was in a run-down laundry mat. No signage on the building and no equipment parked out front to identify the location. I had requested pickup by phone, which was not available at this location. (It was several miles from the requested pickup location, which was an actual U-Haul branded store that had lots of inventory out front.) The lady at the counter was as sweet as she could be but was a clueless little grandmother who couldn't hear over the blaring televisions and laundry equipment running, and didn't know how to "run that computer stuff.' She had to make a call off-site, and then wait for someone to return her call. She then handed me the ancient, greasy phone so that I could communicate with the caller (who was obviously the building's owner) while covering one ear to try to hear over the cacophony of the business. This lady asked for my card number over the phone (which made me extremely uncomfortable given the public setting and other creepy circumstances of the transaction), Normally once I reserve equipment, the card is not run until AFTER I return it and the final tally of mileage is verified. She finally gave me the keys to the truck, which was parked in the alley area at the back of the building, beside a dumpster. Homeless vagabonds and thuggish characters wandered by as we were photographing and inspecting the vehicle. We found the cargo door padlocked and went back inside to request to have it removed. While I was back inside, my other driver locked himself in the cab of our truck because some local miscreants were casing our load of cabinet installation tools. Grandma didn't know where the key to the padlock was kept, and once again had to place a call and wait for a return call. Finally, a key was located and the lock removed, the cargo bay was unswept and contained a few broken plastic hangers scattered on the floor and hanging from the rails. There were morsels of food on the seats and the floor of the cab. I placed the key in the ignition and turned the switch, and a warning sign flashing "18 Miles to Empty!" popped up on the dashboard. After completing the inspection, I requested the paperwork, which I was told I would not receive a copy of. We then drove the several miles (away from our destination) to the location to pick up our load, passing the pristine U-Haul store just before arriving at the factory. We were an hour late, so we had to wait in line. We delivered our cargo and went to turn in the equipment at the U-haul store nearby. We were told that we would be charged a half-tank of gas because the gauge recorded on the paperwork that Grandma refused to give me was "1/2 tank." I showed the clerk the photos of the pickup including the "18 Miles to Empty!" warning and he kindly made the appropriate changes, since the gauge now showed a "48 Miles to Empty!" warning. I was, however, charged the extra mileage for having driven the extra distance from the laundry mat and back from the pickup location a

The employee was very nice and helpful. My issue is with the location we were originally supposed to pick up at and sent us here. Told me it was less than 2 miles away. Actually 9.8 miles through heavy traffic in a strange city. Not happy about it.

An outside UHaul sign would be nice. How are people supposed to know the office is inside a coin laundromat?! All the way in the back? Also there should be a driver to receive the trucks and park it in the dirty parking space in the back. Very unsafe area.
