the entire experience was awful, first of all I reserved a truck at another location. I was called a day before pick up and told the truck wouldn't be available, it had already been rented so the reservation meant nothing. Then they tried to send me 23 miles outside my zip code to pick up a truck. The Shell location was only seven. I had to wait over an hour at the location for the truck because the clerk didn't know how to check it out. Finally the owner arrived and was able to hand over the keys making me more than two hours late for my destination. This was a horrible experience and I hope I never have to rent a U-Haul truck again.

Horrible experience. First, U-Haul had booked me with a location that was closed on the day scheduled. I fortunately discovered this the day before and was rescheduled to the above location. Upon arriving on time, the employee there was unable to supply me with the dolly I had ordered. He then was unable to perform the online scheduling. I had to call the U-Haul customer service, wait on hold for 20 minutes and then deal with them. After an hour and a half (!) of working with them, the employee realize me they didn’t have the keys for the requested van. I therefore had to take a truck for an increased price (did not need a truck, only a van). Absolutely the worst U-Haul experience I’ve ever had and will never use your service again. Awful awful experience.

The lady who was running the gas station took forever and gave me the wrong keys then booked the wrong truck. She was very aggravated when I booked the 15 foot truck and she gave me the 10. It was not a good experience over all I was on a deadline and she was more interested in her store customers then myself.

Attendant kept trying to adjust my reservation after I had "expressed checked out online". He had me waiting after I had talked with him to attend other customers. I had to keep asking for check out to be completed.

At the location they need to precheck the trucks to make sure that they are cleaned and ready for the next customer this is not acceptable I’ve been dealing with haul for years never experienced something like this

Our original pick up spot was closed (website said we could pick 24/7 there but the service was unavailable) and we were re-routed to the shell station. Clerk was too busy with long line of gas customers to be able to help us in a timely fashion. Our pick was supposed to be 10am, we didn't get a truck until 11:15 putting us waaaay behind schedule.

I did all of my registration online and it took over an hour for the man working the counter at the gas station to get on the phone with someone else and be walked through putting in all of my information....that was already put in through my reservation? All of that time i spent entering in the reservation was basically pointless and put us an hour behind

Phone number printed on U-Haul sheet was wrong. I called it 6 times with an answering machine picking up and saying mail box is full. Very frustrating when you are trying to find out if the address is southeast or southwest. That was left off the address. When I arrived the guy at the counter seemed surprised so I asked him if I was in the right place and he said yes. He told me the phone number was wrong. Since there was another U-Haul truck was parked outside I assumed he was right but I did not feel comfortable with the situation. He did not give me a receipt that I returned the vehicle.
