This was the sketchiest situation. Since my original reservation was changed my drop off location did not transfer with my contract. The agent and I just picked a random location. It was not well marked. I got no receipt when I turned in my trailer. And the people at the location told us twice to drop the trailer off around the corner. I’m just thankful my husband was with me.

Make customers aware beforehand of needing a code to get the key to the vehicle they rented. I spent 18 minutes on hold to try to get the code before an Ale’s employee took pity on me and gave me the key.

The location and the staff are wonderful and friendly. The uhaul truck that I rented was falling apart. Broken visors, missing mirrors, headlight knob missing, and also It was raining tremendously and the windshield wipers were very old and all-in-all I felt uncomfortably vulnerable while driving.

The truck was not broom clean.
We did not have a reservation at this location as the one we reserved at nearby did not have the trailer we needed. The employee however was gracious and made time to help us rent a trailer she did have. She also assisted us with the moving blankets. It however, had a blinker light out on the right side that we did not notice until it was packed up at our house.

This place was kind of hard to find. I was told it was a Shell station, but it was a tire shop that was tucked in off the main road. The people were nice and pleasant and the check out didn't take long.

Check id better. I did not use U-Haul nor have I been anywhere near Georgia in decades.

We arrived at location, attendant was helping another customer. When attendant got to us she brought us to a small back office with standing room only, there was a dog under the desk and a cat on top. she asked for our name. couldn't find it. After five minutes or so, i offer reservation number. takes a few minutes and she finds our order. we reserved a 10' truck, it was not at the location, someone had not returned it yet- we were given no notice prior to arriving for pick up. She said she would give us the 20' truck for the same price. we said that is fine. It took her a while to change the order. i told her prior to this i needed to update my destination address as well. I had the "entity number" of the location i needed to go to. She couldn't find it. Told me to just go where i needed to go, it would be fine. Got to the payment part. We wanted to pay with cash and card. She couldn't figure it out. We said ok, we'll pay with 2 cards. She couldn't figure it out. Tried to start the whole reservation over as a walk in, to take 2 payments. She couldn't figure it out. Finally SHE suggested doing self check in on my phone. I said ok. So far we were there at least 1.5- 2 hours by now. We went outside and started the self check-in. The whole thing took almost 20 minutes and we were on our way. Needless to say i probably will never rent a u-haul from an associate again and definitely NOT at this location.

AJ had set this up for 7:30 am and do the self serve walk through to pick up the van. I? do the walk through to find out and code to retrieve the van didn’t work. So regional manger couldn’t get it Correctmttt

Nothing... They were great. I was late because of seasonal holiday traffic and they actually waited for me. The were suppose to close but instead anticipated that I was probably late because of heavy traffic. Great customer service!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE they charged me for an item they did not provide and for the van TWICE. It was dirty and smelly inside. NEVER AGAIN!

The combination for the key lockbox did not work. Had to call customer service - they gave me the code for the other lockbox - so had to take the larger truck rather than the van I wanted.

The location was convenient for me however I am disappointed in the return process. This really has nothing to do with this location but rather the U-Haul app process. I estimated I would return the truck by 8 pm when ordering. We arrived at the location at 8:05 having filled with gas, etc. However, the U-Haul app gave us error messages and by the time we were able to access my account it was closer to 8:20. Once photos were taken I was told I would be charged for another rental period. This is unacceptable! Being charged almost $100 vs the original $59 approximately is a big difference. This is especially disappointing when it was U-Haul's app that was giving us trouble. In fact, we never received final instructions on what to do with the keys. I had to call the customer service line to ask someone to walk me through the final steps. I would appreciate not being charged for an extra rental period when we returned the truck in a timely and efficient manner. I will gladly encourage U-Haul and this location to others but not if they risk being charged extra as well. Please advise on how this will be handled. Thank you.
