The man working at the convenient store did not come out to show me anything about the truck. Also, I Forgot to ask about a dolly initially and did so after I had already paid for the truck. He got one out for me and I paid him $10. He did not give any paperwork for the dolly, and I was not aware he was supposed to until I return the truck in North Carolina and they asked me about it. So apparently he just pocketed my $10. There was no record of me renting a dolly. The employee also had no knowledge about the insurance contracts. He could not tell me what the difference was between the basic insurance and the premium insurance. He clearly had no knowledge about renting U-Haul trucks. I have typically had great experiences so I wanted to make sure that you were aware of this. It is not your normal quality of a U-Haul location.

It takes way too long to get checked in here. It took the guy 30 minutes to get everything straightened out. The establishment, while a gas station, is not well maintained.

My vehicle did not have working running lights and I drove around the city of Atlanta at night without any idea that this was the case until people were honking and flashing their lights at me. It was really late at night before I realized what was happening and was without the ability to get a new vehicle. The location I rented from informed me that the only way I could get a refund was by contacting UHaul and that they had no ability to offer me a refund.

Only one person was working in the store that day, and this location is also a gas station/convenience store. It took 45 minutes to finish my check-in because the man kept having to help people buy gas or other items. Also, my contract wouldn't print so there was no way for me to figure out how much gas to put in when I returned the truck later that day. Not impressed.

My pick up time was 7:00. The attendant took forever assisting me, the store was empty. He kept telling I could have done everything online, which I did. My location changed three times. All I needed was to pay, review the truck for damages and be on my way. It took over 45 minutes because the attendant kept doing other things. I was paying my movers by the hour and I actually paid them for a free hour of nothing, because I had to wait.

My rental got double booked and I had to wait over an hour at the gas station trying to get in touch with customer service and dealing with the UHaul representative. It was less than ideal. There is such a lack of communication between the locations and the corporate office that it's exhausting. And I was never offered anything for all my wasted time. Overall, it was a bad experience this time around.

I want to thank the guy that helped me at the Shell station when I returned my Uhaul. To be in the gas station dealing with gas station customers and having to deal with rental returns, he did an outstanding job. I want to thank him for making the return go smoothly.

I have booked a truck from another location and uhaul changed the location without even letting me know. I had to go to the previous place and wait for the guy there just to tell me that my truck was at a different location. Although the dealers were friendly and the equipment in an excellent condition uhaul's online systems had some issues.

Uhaul needs to quit doing business with this pick-up/drop-off location. After spending an hour waiting on customer service while the store worker helped his other customers purchasing gas, drinks, etc., he proceeded to tell me that he didn't know how to set up my trailer to my trailer hitch on my SUV. I then had to go to the West Athens U-haul location to actually get a trailer. That location was extremely accommodating and had a trailer hooked up to my car in less than fifteen minutes. I'm extremely satisfied with the service I received there (specifically from Daniel and Bryan). I just wish I had reserved my trailer from their location in the first place.

Where do I even start. This was the worst customer service I have ever received. Honestly I will never recommend or let any friends or family use U-Haul. Ridicoulus. I put in a Request for a 6PM pick up at a Colbert GA location. Without contacting me it was changed to Athens, GA at 9. Some lady called me and did not say anything that made sense, “we changed it to 9… are good……your pickup is confirmed.” So I call back to ask a question, she has me call a different number and then that guy says call this number and then no one answered. SO Whatever at this point. At 8:30 I go to the place where my U-Haul should be at 9…….IT IS CLOSED. I call U-Haul and one of your reps spoke with me. All she could say was “I can transfer you to customer service to lodge a complaint, I have no idea why they booked you at this time” So I call back 706-308-8896 and she just start blabbering about a possible double booking and the truck wasn’t confirmed even though she told me it was and I got a text saying it was confirmed……but my thing is a double booking wouldn’t of mattered they put my reservation at a place that was closed. How is this acceptable….and all you can offer is to lodge a complaint? No. Honestly I want a full refund of the amount I spent last night to get a U-Haul from a gas station after basically begging them. I want to be refunded $98.69 for the truck and its fees and for the gas I put into it. This was ridiculous for you all to put someone through this much stress and not offer something in return. Makes me question the companies integrity.



I waited at the line more than 30 minutes !

Had to wait for about an hour just to receive keys, and I was 3rd in line. When I returned the van, I had to wait about 30 min. Being the first in line and was then told that I had to go get the hand truck that I rented and bring it inside myself. That in and of itself was not a big deal, but I have always received the truck with all supplies inside of the truck and returned it as such. So when asked to take it and bring it back, I was a bit confused and frustrated. Especially after having to wait so long.

I had a reservation for 10:30 am for a 10 ft truck. I arrived exactly at 10:30. There was no truck. The previous renter of that truck was late returning. I waited until noon. Still no truck. Then the Shell Food Mart staff offered me a 15 footer. I asked them why they made me wait 90 min. to make that decision and did not offer me that option at 10:30? They offered no intelligible explanation. The Shell mart staff were just awful communicators. They charged me for a 15 footer by the way. I asked for the 10 foot rate since that's what my reservation was for. They said they could not do that. After 90 min. of waiting in that nasty store I simply signed the paper for the 15 ft. truck at that rate as I had to move my daughter that day and had no other options. I would ask that you consider reimbursing my credit card for the difference between the 10 and 15 ft truck rate. This was simply pathetic costumer service Such a poor reflection on your company.
