Fill the uhaul up with gas for the customer and have them return it full. It was ridicious to pick a truck up at a gas station and the truck only had a small bit of gas left and it’s nearly impossible to return it with that exact same amount. Also the reservation wasn’t confimed with me until 12.48pm the day prior to me picking up the vehicle at 7:30am. It would be nice to give customers more notices especially if they are picking up the truck at a location other than their preferred location.

Didn’t have correct length truck. Didn’t do a walkaround inspection with me. Didn’t include the hand truck I requested online. Charged me extra for fuel after I sent uhaul a picture of the fuel gauge below “F” indicating the truck was not actually full of gas when I picked it up. Annoying process.

Employee helping was new and did not know how the system worked. Very friendly and helpful but it took quite a while to get checked out. A little more training would have helped.

While the Ashland location and the employee there were very helpful, our pickup took over an hour to coordinate. I had a confirmed pickup in Framingham and could not manage to get the confirmation done on my phone in any way, but the Framingham Uhaul office is closed on Sunday. I talked with customer service 3 times and they finally sent me to Ashland because there was actually someone there to help but overall it was an incredibly negative experience. I was not made aware that there would be nobody physically present in Framingham, and I was not made aware that the Uhaul app blatantly doesn't work. The van worked well and I got everything done but it took an unnecessarily long amount of time.

Originally they told us that there was no availability but per the 1-800 number there was later in the day. Also, for a day with temps greater than 90 degrees, the air conditioning didn't work in the van.

Excellent and efficient service overall. We had to rent a truck with less than 24-hours notice after a prior arrangement fell through and marathon came through with flying colors. We would definitely recommend this location.

HAVE THE RESERVED TRUCK THERE! I Reserved a 15' truck online a week ahead of time, when I got there I was told there were no 15 foot trucks and that this happens all the time by the guy working there. Only saving grace was that there happened to be a 10' truck there, otherwise we would not have been able to move because there would have been nothing else in such short notice. Terrible experience and it's pretty messed up that it happens all the time and you have not fixed this problem. Extremely dissatisfied customer and I will now tell everyone I know to not use uhaul.

The cab of the van had trash and soda bottles. The windshield was covered and repeated attempts with the wipers/cleaner did little to improve the windshield. When the van was returned I mentioned to the gentleman checking me in that I thought the van could use a run thru a car wash. No response was made.

Everything at Marathon was excellent, along with Judy in Customer service with Uhaul. We do however want to file a complaint with Granite Gulf Station on Cedar St in Milford. We had made a reservation for this location and when we went to pick up the truck they told us the reservation got messed up and someone else was going to get that truck and they did not have another one to give us. So we had to now scramble to find another one somewhere else.Also no one contacted us to let us know that it had been now switched to a location that was not near our home and we were very inconvienced and received terrible customer service at this location.

Unfortunately the printer was not working the morning of rental, so I was required to take a screen shot of the laptop from my phone and the rental information which was glare-y and not sharp. The gas in the truck was between 3/4 and 7/8th. I gassed it up to 3/4+ on my return, but was hit with a $6.38 fuel charge. Annoying. Had I had the print out I would have caught the actual gauge read out on gassed up appropriately on my return. Also, it's weird the truck was not rented with a full tank, as this makes it much easier to return full. Seeing it's a gas station rental location this seemed even more odd. Lastly, the attendant couldn't tell me if using the Mass Pike accrued additional charges over and above the actual toll. He said " I get the question all the time and I don't know the answer" Really?!? Maybe time to find out. Especially given the location is 3 miles from the Mass Pike.
