Much confusion upon pickup. The clerk knew nothing about my order even though I had a copy of my email confirmation that said to pick up the truck at 8:00. She called her manager and the manager said that her records did not show this order. The manager said that I needed a code to pick up the truck. The manager said that it would take her 20 minutes to get to the station. She said that I had to go to UHaul.com to check in. I tried to explain that I followed directions for Express Online Check-In as explained in the email that I was holding in my hand. I called UHaul and was told by the service agent that I was all set to pick up the truck as it was during business hours and I should just be handed the key. Long story ... The manager got to the station around 9:00 (an hour after my scheduled pickup) and she still insisted that I was wrong. She used the "F word". It was around 9:30 that morning that I finally got the keys and was able to drive away. Somewhere in the UHaul system there is a major "disconnect" between the written info provided to the customer and the way the local station attendant thinks things should work. A huge waste of time and lack of consideration.

The staff of there is pretty nice and teresa be looking cute she is really flexible with the hours and she has all her trucks smelling like faboluso and clean.

Even though I had a decent experience with the locations I had a VERY bad experience with reservations and Trudy and Michelle from scheduling. At this point after this I strongly doubt I will ever use or recommend U-Haul for any services especially due to the overall experience and treatment that I received from the individuals listed above.

The location itself is a little daunting based on the fact that it is located at a gas station and from the outside it doesn't visually appear that you would deal with an actual U-Haul staff member, however, every single person we communicated with at the gas station (including the U-Haul staff member!) was inviting, communicative - incredibly helpful, real, and pleasant. Teresa Lee-Tanori was awesome, please take care of her and give her a raise/title boost! She had to take on a mistake made by a U-Haul staff member that we reserved our truck with and she did it with grace, humor, and got the job done!

I was scheduled to pick up the uHaul truck at 8 am. The person arrived 35 minutes late. I had to leave for work while friends finished up the move. It made it a very stressful moving experience.

First of all my original order requested pick up at White Oaks Rd, Campbell. I chose this location because it opened at 7am on Saturday so my loaders could get to work early. The Del Mar Bl location opens at 10am on Saturday. Consequently we had to turn our plans upside down and pick up the truck on Friday instead so we could maintain our schedule. We also ordered 50 blankets to go with the truck - they had none - so we had to make a special journey to White Oaks Rd to pick up 24 blankets (the max they had). Very inconvenient.

Girl at the front desk never even asked my name, just brought out all the keys and had me find the matching number and had me pull out the truck from where it was stored between 5 other trucks. She was nice but I had to go back in to give her my name without her asking and I wrote my name on a cigarette box folded in half.

New location, new computer and no printer, had to have my driver's license scanned into their system which I didn't like having this info in company's computer system which could get hacked.

The location was not aware of all procedures for paperless rental and drop off, the attendant on duty was very helpful even though she had not been aware that this method was possible and had to 'learn' how to take in the rental while we waited.
