This Rep at above location did not have a clue . The truck was filthy, he told me to dump the trash on the curb, the mileage was wrong, and the truck was out of gas. He also did not want to perform any type of inspection of the vehicle. His only resolution was to offer to give me extra miles and send me down the road. I insisted on an inspection and took a photo of the gas gauge & odometer. I am adding my number in case someone would like to contact me for further information (209) 610-4580.



They don't answer the phone "Uhaul" so it is very misleading and confusing. Additionally, the two older gentlemen are rude and ignored us. However, the younger man who handled our rental was well-mannered and courteous and got us out the door quickly. Otherwise, there were no issues with this rental.

Truck was very unsafe, check engine light was on, it rattled, they gave it to us with a quarter tank of gas and numerous times the engine almost died. The pricing is very confusing and what was suppose to be a $63 rental as my reservation stated turned into a $94 rental. The whole process/experience was very unsatisfactory.

My experience was AWFUL!!!! My truck was reserved a month in advance and paid for in advance and I was suppose to pick my truck up in Walnut Creek, CA at 9:00 am on the 11 th. But the day before they texted me that my truck was not available for pickup until 6:00 pm. I call in and was transferred four or five times given 3 different numbers to call and hung up on twice. I finally had to drive to Antioch to pick up my truck which was an hour each way. I also had reserved 2 dozen furniture pads which also was paid for in advance which the location didn't have. So overall the experience sucked. We are making a move with two families this spring to Charleston SC and had been planning on using your pack and ship service however now I'm not so sure you are up for the task. I would appreciate a call from a supervisor.

This location was the best one I've used for pickup/drop off. The shop was nice and clean and the paperwork handled very quickly and with courtesy. There was an error in billing me; however it was corrected within a day and followed up with a call of apology. Thank you Kai and Team!!

Building not clearly marked. Computer/printer took forever to print up paperwork. Truck not available at reservation time. Place had thick layer of dust inside. Will not recommend ANY U-Haul location after 2 straight weekends of horrible service.

The lady that helped me was very pleasant and helpful. Everything worked out well. It was the U-Haul web site that gave me issues as well as the mobile app. I ended up with 2 reservations because the first time through the application just clocked and sent me back to the beginning. Then after doing a second reservation the first one came back. I cancelled one. Then my rental location changed to one further away. Overall your web apps and you mobile apps need some serious work.

The van was infested with some type of bug. All of my belongings that were in the van now are affected. I have strange bites on my legs that I got after sleeping in my bed with items that were in the van. Never experienced this problem Before.

When I went to pick up the cargo van I reserved at 114 Railroad Ave., Antioch, CA on Saturday at 10:00am, the computer system in the office was down. I tried to use the smart phone application for quick pick up, but I had to wait in line anyway because the office manager was tending to other customers ahead of me and having difficulty due to the computer system. I understand those things happen - that's not my complaint here. The fuel was completely empty when I picked up the van. I put gas in it at the Shell station a couple of blocks away. Because it was so empty, the digital display alert (telling me there was no gas) covered the odometer so I couldn't enter the outgoing mileage to complete the smart phone pick up process until I put gas in it and the alert disappeared. When I tried to enter the mileage, I couldn't figure out how to do it correctly and entered a number that was completely incorrect. However, fortunately the smart phone application also required that I upload a photo of the odometer at the same time, which I did. The mileage on the contract that was emailed to me after I left the Uhaul office on August 26 is inaccurate - because of the computer problems, the office manager hadn't yet updated the mileage from the previous renter of the Cargo van. When I left the Uhaul office on Saturday morning, the mileage was 16,917, and when I returned the van on Sunday morning, the mileage was 16,938. I took photos that show my beginning miles and ending miles. I also wanted to mention that the office manager said he would be there in the office on Sunday morning when I returned, but several customers waited outside for him to arrive, but he never did. A few of those had reservations at that location. I called the 800 customer service number, and the representative told me to lock the van and drop the keys in the key drop, which I did. I did not use the smart phone application to check the van in when I returned it because as I mentioned above, I entered the mileage incorrectly starting out, so the application showed that I had driven thousands of miles, and was going to charge me over $6,000. In short, I had the van only 24 hours, and I drove a total of 21 miles. I took one trip to the Antioch recycling center and back to my house on Lone Tree Drive in Antioch - that was all. The tank was completely empty when I picked up the van, and I returned it with 1/4 tank of fuel. I received my receipt via email, and it is showing that I drove approximately 65 miles. Not true - I drove 21 miles. Again, the previous renters mileage had not been entered into the computer system upon return because the computer system in the office was down. So I've been charged 40+ miles that should have been charged to the previous renter. I have photos of my starting and ending miles. Please credit my credit card accordingly. Give a truck that has gas in it. The gas light was on and the tank was on E and they wanted me to fill it up and gave a quarter tank in when it was returned. They want me to return the car with gas but age ut to me with none at all and weren't going to reimburse me.
