The air conditioning was not working and was needed on a hot summer day. I am looking for reimbursement. Thank you for the equipment and flexibility otherwise. I reserved and paid for my truck in advance. My pick up location was changed multiple times online causing me to panic and spend a great deal of time on hold for customer service. At pick up time, my truck was not at the right location. I had to call again and then drive to another location. It was very frustrating and caused a lot of extra stress.

Customer service was poor. The truck I rented had a headlight out. The representative then asked me to back the truck back into a very tight space because he didn't know how to do it. The representative then had issues with the computer system and was able to initially swap out the truck, but then realized he couldn't give the truck to me that he wanted to because it was promised to someone else. Then he forgot to provide the blankets and dolly's that I ordered. The next day, when I returned it, a different representative was rude to my wife who was simply folding blankets. That evening, I realized I may have left my keys in the truck. I live 30 minutes away and the representative refused to go out and look to verify they were in the cab. He said to show up at 8 the next day. I was there at 8:05 and the truck was gone. I asked them to let me know when the truck was back so I could check the cab. They did not do so. Finally, I showed up at the end of the day and retrieved my keys. Terrible customer service mixed with a good deal of incompetence.

I rent here regularly for my business. However, I often find the floor has not been well-swept. I tend to leave it cleaner than when I got it. Also the low tire pressure light is on. The tire does not look low, but someone (not me) should give it air to try to get the sensor to go off.

This was the worst experience of my life. The representative was nasty and rude, from the beginning of the process through the return. He seemed to have a bias against women renting a large truck. He was condescending and incompetent. The truck was beyond GROSS, when we picked up. I wore gloves in order to drive it to my home, due to the filth. I spend over an hour cleaning the cab, just so we would be able to drive it safely . It also had a check engine light on. When I asked about it, the rep said it was due for an oil change. It is incomprehensible that a global company like U Haul, would a employee such a representative, allow trucks to be rented with overdue maintenance and with utter filth in the cab. If this was my only experience with them, I would NEVER use them. However, I have experienced great service at other locations.

My issue is with the equipment not the service provided. The A/C didn't work and caused delays in my trip which resulted in increased mileage. Very disappointing to then later find out I was charged the additional mileage. Thanks Uhaul!

My only complaint was that I called before I booked to see if I could park my car overnight at the lot since i only rented for 24 hours and they told me that they didn't have any on sight parking. So I parked across the street a couple blocks away at the mall parking lot and when I came to pick up, I was told I could have left my car there. It just added a lot of time and inconvenience to my experience. However, the process was quick and easy and the van was what I expected.

Everything went very smoothly until I was overcharged for extra days. I spoke to customer service on Aug 1, who indicated the extra charge was supposed to be reversed. It hasn’t been according to my records.

I made my reservations to pick up my truck at one location that was close to our hotel at 9:00am to move my husbands deceased aunts belongings. We had driven several hundred miles to do this move. I was contacted the day before the move and told that the only truck that was available was an hour away and would be available at 1 pm. Not the location nor the time that I had chosen. I stopped in at my original location to see if they could help and she could not. She let me talk to a customer service rep who ultimately gave me a discount on the rate. The stress of going to the location that I did not choose and ultimately cost us 2 and a half hours of our moving time not to mention not getting the truck at the original time, will make me think twice of using uhaul again.

Not able to talk to anyone when I had problems. I didn’t like the moving helper site. The mover helper was 2 hours late. I wanted to drop the truck at a different location, the help site said I could, but could not.

The attendants were no help when my account wouldn’t work before 8am. The person working at U-Haul/shell station refused to even speak with me. I returned at 9am. Another person was now present. But, the person who would now help me was the same person who refused to help me before 8am. I loath having to use a U-Haul, because of the abysmal customer service. Your sub-par employees/agents caused me to miss an entire day of moving, and has impacted my work and family life significantly. I will do everything in my power to avoid using U-Haul ever again.

The U-Haul app was terrible to use. I wast trying to complete the process and every step presented a new technical challenge. Mostly, the app would fail to continue and I would get a blank screen that would lose my progress. I eventually went inside and the guys there were extremely helpful. They were able to figure it out for me and I had no problems after that.

The truck was clean and the process smooth, but the blankets I rented were damp and unusable for packing, unfortunately I did not have time to replace them so we had to make due.

Checking in via the smart phone app was useless. Every time I tried, it responded with something like "There was a problem on our end. Wait a minute and try again." Also, tried it via your webpage. Same result. After a half hour, I gave up and rented the old fashioned way via paper and human beings. That took 30 seconds. You need to quit hyping your app if it isn't going to work.

It was fast service, however I was surprised that this location has you go to the lot to pull the truck out, and you park it in the lot. This was a first. Also the window on the driver side was half way down, and because it was raining, the seat was wet.

1. I rented for Edgewater and it posted as Annapolis. 2. The gas level they recorded was based on the truck sitting in a downhill position and listed as 1/8 tank higher than on level ground. This costs the customer over 2 extra gallons to refil.

The attendant working whenever I arrived to pick up the truck was extremely helpful and answered any question i had, etc. Upon returning the truck there was another attendant on duty and he was extremely rude to me and not helpful at all throughout the entire return process. I will not be returning to this location simply due to the manner in which the one individual treated me. This was my first time renting a U-Haul, which i would consider again, but definitely not from this location!
