The man who helped me at Yogi entered the wrong destination, even though I told him twice where I was going. Because of this mistake, I had to call U-Haul several times to rectify the situation. Everyone I spoke to at U-Haul, especially Eric Petit (AFM), Denna and Jeff (at the Wake Forest location, I believe), were very helpful. I appreciate their professionalism and kindness! Eric quickly fixed the problem.

The lady working had to keep calling her husband for answer to my questions about the paperwork for my drop off, and I don't like the fact that they don't give you any paperwork showing you dropped off.

Truck was VERY difficult to start because the steering wheel had to be turned (very hard) to various positions before the key was able to turn to start the truck.

I reserved the truck on line the evening prior to picking it up with a credit/debit card. When I went to pick it up, the clerk asked for my drivers license..then asked for an "additional ID", I showed him my VA ID Card, and he said he'd like to look at a credit card for ID. I handed him my Company Credit Card and he immediately SWIPED it. I objected as the company card is not to be used for personal perposes, and HE SPECIFICALLY SAID, "I NEED THE CARD FOR ID", nothing about swiping it. He explained it would not register, but only used for ID. When I looked at the contract, I saw that THAT card had just had a hold put on it. Again, I objected and apparently it was too bad. My complaint is not for the hold, but that the way the hold was done and on that card. Had he stated that he needed a card to run and to place a hold on it, no problem as standard practice and I would have handed him the card that I used to reserve the truck and had intended to use for payment. As it was, I was deceived and could and will most likely face repercussions from my company for using the company card. When I spoke with whomever the clerk called, he was about as helpful as dirt. I have doubts that U-haul will ever be on my list of who to call again unless there is absolutely no one else to rent from. This practice of deception is unacceptable and the after action with the higher he called and put me on the phone with beyond reproach. As for the truck, facility, and even the guy's other action, all was good, I just have a problem with the card thing. Thanks, Lawrence Wilkinson
