I was short with the guy who helped me at mail box store. He didn't know how to help me with the phone registration. I had him check me in instead. I apologized 3 times, once before I left, the second time I came back just to say I was sorry that I was short with him, the third time when I dropped off the keys. Never once did he acknowledge my apology. Also, the rear view mirror was broken. I had to have the passenger look out the window every time I had to change lanes. Not good at all!!!
Representative at location very unpleasant, short and somewhat rude. Gentleman seems to despise his job and/or dealing with people. The most awful people skills I have seen in a long time.
Aaron at your Mid City location was excellent to work with! He let me know that the trailer I reserved was not available and I thought oh no my moving day is destroyed. But Aaron was already working on a solution and was able to find me a truck which changed my plans of driving back home to flying but my moving day was saved. Thank you Aaron :)
Honestly, was very disappointed with my experience. I booked my rental for pick up at Haz Rental and for 7am. Somehow my rental changed to 8am and a different location was assigned. I did not see the email that was sent and didn't know until I showed up to Haz and they didn't have my truck. Then the employee at Haz was not very helpful. Went to the new location where I could barely understand the guy and he didn't give any details on what I was supposed to do after I picked up the truck (ie. the checklist that gets texted to you) or if I should put gas back in it. Due to these issues I was set back 2hrs and not happy at all.
Reservation dates were off one day but the gentleman that helped me was very acomodating and corrected my situation on the spot. Thank you !!
Very simple process
I declined the Safe Move coverage, but was charged $14 anyway. I was overcharged for fuel. I drove 45 miles but was charged for 8 gallons of fuel, which implies an MPG of 5.25. The employees at the store were rude and failed to provide the dolly that was reserved, so we had to go back to the store. My original reservation was for a Uhaul location next to my house, but was switched the day prior to pickup, requiring extra mileage.
The receptionist was very polite. She greeted me and assisted me right away.
Truck was late for scheduled pick up. The clerk was. It helpful.
The customer service was excellent good cheerful people that make your day go a little better!
The truck was everything I needed for a 3 bedroom house.

I was charged for gas but I made sure to return the vehicle with the exact same amount of gas. How do I get refunded that charge?
Have better signage to find your location
Sergio and Betty who own this place are really friendly, attentive and professional. They have such a wonderful neighborhood business. I will definitely use them again. They make U-haul look good.
The truck was filthy. The AC only worked on full blast. The brakes and steering definitely needs to be serviced. I was told to go around the back behind the laundromat and I'd find the truck. I asked if it had the furniture dolly in it already. She said those are back there. Drove around back no furniture dolly in the truck. When I say filthy I mean it was a mess. Could barely see out of the window. Still haven't received the paperwork that the man said he would email to close out the rental which was 2 days ago.
They had called me to claiming, I didn't pay. That I didn't have a contract or anything.
Decided to pick out a moving haul truck for my first time from this location or any. Which the lady only explained that it was $20 for the truck and also a1.19 for a mile. Returned the truck the same day but I forgot my toolbox in the back so I had to return the next day, on return I entered the store and ask the gentleman if he had seen a toolbox and he said yes but you forgot to put gas very rudely with poor communication skills. This was my first time renting out a truck so wasn't really sure on how it worked. He said you have to pay $5 every mile very rudely so I explained to the gentleman how much do I owe you I'm willing to pay the difference of how much do I owe you or how could you just didn't take it out of my credit card. Then he responded real rudely this time is fine but don't do it next time.When I rented out the truck the lady had mentioned nothing about gas or I would have put gas in like I said this was my first time and definitely my last time going back to this place plus on top of it that U-Haul truck was not clean in the driver and passenger side. Very unsanitary especially with everything going on in the world right now.
The location was hard to find and not really set up to help with the process of picking up a trailer. However, it did work overall, just not as smooth as we would have liked.
