The GPS function on the Uhaul app to locate the truck and proceed with the registration to drive the truck did not work. I had to call the Owner of the uhaul store to come up here and complete the registration in person.

an inspection needs to be required at pick up. there was a dent in the bumper of the truck that I rented. it had a trailer connected to it the entire time I had it. I saw the dent when I picked it up, but I am way too trusting of people, otherwise I am a complete A-hole. this morning I was nice. when I returned the truck, the man said "well it doesn't look like you hit anything, oh wait yes you did." he walked right to that corner, what a coincidence. i know he did not complete a thorough inspection of the vehicle prior to renting it to me because if he had, he surely would have found the syringe, open needle, no cap, inside the door pocket of the passenger door. we found it during clean up prior to returning it. my wife sat there the entire time. i took the syringe to my workshop and ground the needle off with my bench grinder and disposed of the body. i want to believe it was for medical use, but had my wife or i found it the hard way, i know what kind of testing we would have to undergo along with the fear of what was really on that needle. i was late returning the trailer by an hour and a half. i was charged an extra day for the trailer because demand was high for this specific trailer, but not the 2 others he had sitting out front. i use uhaul every year or two, i wont stop being a customer but i will not return to that location.

The place smelled horribly of smoke when we walked in only to see the guy helping us walk out with a lit cigarette INSIDE the office. He also attempted to rip me off by taking $400 extra out of my account claiming I drove 600 miles.....try 15 miles. This situation was rectified but I still feel like he tried to pull one over on me.

I ordered six dozen blankets, he had six blankets... could t or wouldn’t do much but a few phone calls, then said he couldn’t do more... his employee said he never opens up an order until the customer shows up so he didn’t know.... I cancelled and went to I-27 location where Justin got me six dozen blankets at Lubbock but I had to drive to get them...”no there is t anyone there who could meet you halfway”... Justin got me a coupon for money off, but I was livid, had to postpone my move 24 HOURS because of this juggling helpers and meals and gas for them in both places...??

They were not there when I dropped off the online profile stated 8:00 I was there from 8:10-8:30 finally started calling and got the persons cell phone then found out they didn’t open until 9:00 would not have been a problem except the online states 8:00 so I showed up then and waited as my return time was before 9:00

When I check in to pick up the trailer they acted like it was too much trouble They really didn't want to mess with it. When I drop of the trailer the attendant told me he couldn't do it and there was no one there to do it. I would have to take the trailer some where else. I have been using uhaul for many years and this is the worst I have ever seen customer service....

Only problem we had was when we dropped off the trailer at 5:45pm Tuesday 5/31/2016 the place was closed. We told them when we picked up it would be close to 6pm when we could drop off they said they were open till 6pm, no problem. There was no one there to unhook the trailer so my guy unhooked it and left it in the street making sure it would not roll and left it. We contacted the Uhaul place Wed. am to make sure they got it.

Auto transport was rented in poor condition and a tire blew out causing a fire which damaged my car. The auto transport was recommended for my car instead of the dolly but the car was damaged during loading (under the direction of Uhaul personnel). This is not a good method for lower cars (a 2013 stock Volvo C30) which is moderately low - certainly not as low as some cars.

The clerk at this store is in no way responsible for my low score. I had rented this truck online and was supposed to pick up at the 6th Street Location. On Friday I get a text saying my pick up had been moved to Virginia Circle. We get there and the truck is there but they do not have my appliance dolly, The clerk did not have one at his store. He finally called someone and they told him there was 1 at the 6th Street store or 5 at the Canyon E-way store. I had to ask him to call that store so they wouldn't give it away. Had to drive out of the way to get it. I also asked that he give me extra mileage since my dolly was not with the truck. I felt sorry for him because apparently someone had rented the same truck to another lady and only because I reserved mine first, I got it. I would of really been upset if I had driven all the way from Arlington TX to Amarillo TX and my truck would have been gone. Need more communication between stores. He couldn't see my reservation for the dolly, but whoever he called could. Not a very happy customer.
