I came to return my truck today, location is what was given to me for drop off, filled the tank, and paid for the extra mileage. I did the return through my phone, and couldn't find the drop box for keys. I went to give them to the man working and he told me wasn't taking the truck back because he didn't have space. I let him know I had already received confirmation of the return on my phone, he said he will refuse the return. He told me someone at uhaul messed up and I needed to call them, I did. After 25 minutes on hold (I also missed an appt I had because this return fiasco toil 45 minutes) they asked to call Me back in 15 minutes. I told them no. I left the truck and the keys. I have no idea how things are run, but this was completely unacceptable especially because renting the truck and paying for gas cost me $250. The return should have been the easy part. The man was extremely rude, and very u helpful.

The location and guy there were great. What was HORRIBLE, is the Uhaul self check in process from your phone. I spent over 20 minutes once I arrived at the location, trying to complete the self check in process, and finally just had the guy at the location check me in because check in from my phone was taking too long. I won't use the sled check in again!

I was told when I made a reservation that the deposit was going to be $65 and I ended up making over a $100 deposit. The Uhaul we were assigned to was not drivable as there was damage to the vehicle. The guy we were working with stated there was nothing for him to do and that we should just drive the damage one. Luckily I had my father there to tell the guy we will most certainly not drive a damage vehicle and then get problems when returning it. He then gave us another vehicle as we were killing time trying to resolve this problem. He then charged my account again of $140 while I was out moving. When I went to return the vehicle, he stated he had to charge me again for the 2nd vehicle even though I only used one vehicle and it was the same as the first one we were going to rent just not damage. I am more than unhappy with Uhaul and the service of the guy who helped me at this location. I was charged twice, one for a vehicle I did not drive due to it being damage and the other was a $39.99 vehicle I did not rent! I am very unhappy and will not recommend Uhaul as my service was terrible and the guy who helped me charged me twice and the second time without my consent! This will be the last time I use this service unless I receive better service in the future.

This location was the only one opened on Sunday in a broad geographical area. Sunday is a big day for movers, so yes this is the place to go if you need a Sunday. But the location only had one attendant who specifically noted that he hated Sunday's because it was so busy. He had a retail operation to run, so while he did well as a one-man operation, he was stressed which always concerns customers.

This was not my original pickup location. 30 minutes prior to my original scheduled pickup at another location I received a phone call stating they did not have a truck for me. I had already paid for movers to arrive at a specific time and this put me into a time crunch. I worked with three different customer service reps to locate another truck, 30 miles away from my location. In the end, I lost 2 hrs of move time and hired help time. I am in the military and have moved 13 times in my career. This was not my best experience with uhaul, and I realize things happen. That being said, if I had more of a heads up that my preferred truck and location were not available I could have saved precious time and certainly money.

I was overcharged for the mileage. I drove 148 miles and I was charge for 223 miles I returned the truck with a full tank and was charged $52.13 for gas. I rented truck three times this past month and will not rent from this location again and may not rent from Uhaul again.

I have had a reservation for over a week and revived a phone call Friday the day before my move date. I was informed my truck was not available and had to drive 40 miles to get the only truck around. Also it took over an hour to get the paperwork squared away so I could leave with the truck. Sorry uhaul but never again.

The owner was very concerned about the mix-up with the trucks and he was not able to speak with Gillco because they were closed. He worked with Gillco and U-Haul rep. the next day to work things out. Had Gillco been open when I returned the truck to Alpine this could have been worked out when I got there. I had to contact Gillco in the morning and explain what happened. The error was worked out between the companies and did not impact my ability to catch my flight back from San Diego. Things just happen sometimes, but everyone dealt with it and all was well.
