Grado:

It was great being able to return the UHaul truck to a convenient location once we had emptied the contents, replaced the fuel and swept it out. The one-way return saved us a lot of time and extra expense. Associates were really helpful and expedient.

Grado:

Clerk really wasn't trained well enough, it took far too much time and she didn't go out to check the trailer for existing damage or show us which trailer to take we had to search for the trailer ourselves.

Veronica went over and beyond to make sure the size truck I wanted was there for pick up as promised.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was a gas station, so they were busy with others at the same time. I was not happy that 1. I called the U-Haul number given online all day long with no answer. I finally reached a person when I called the gas station. 2. The end door had problem. Had to rig it to not get stuck. 3. Wiper blade bent.

I did everything online including preregister. called and confirmed next day. Got to Greenleaf and they said they didn't have dollys then they found them Only other thing is they charged me fir moving blankets ($5.00) that I did not order or receive. Did like having a location near my move.

I was supposed to pick up my truck here and when I showed up it was not there. I had to waste time and go to Jonesville to pick up the truck. I was however happy with the workers and how they handled the situation.

I reserved an auto transport with much difficulty on the phone the night prior. And call in the AM to arrange pick to find none available in my area. Agreed to pick up at this location and to my surprise the pick up location was a gas understaffed gas station the trailer was still hooked up to a large box truck and buried in 18” of snow. The station attendant could not leave the building to unhook the unit for she was the only person there. After getting the truck and trailer unstuck and moved out of the snow I had to unhook and move the truck back so that I could hook to my truck. Removing 18” of snow from the trailer to make sure the straps were intact all before I could proceed with my day. I tended the unit for 2 days but only used it for 1 day but that’s ok the Battle Creek location was unaware of me bringing this unit in but was vary good and came out to inspect it and receive the unit in I have lived in Michigan my whole life I understand snow storms happen but if you can plow you gas station out so you customers cas get gas and coffee you can finish the job and plow out the equipment you are renting to your customers. And have enough staff to assist so they don’t have to do your job. I was not wearing snow boot so after all that I then had to drive all day with wet shoes and socks Not happy

This location was a new dealer. She was very professional and apologetic while trying to navigate thru the check out process. Im not exactly sure what the issue was but took us nearly a full hour or better to finally leave with truck with a loooooooong night ahead. To the last question I answered neutral. Think it was a training issue out of her control.

Continued. Previous sent by a wrong touch!!! I drove back to the store front and told her .I could not check the lights alone. She came out, verified my actions and walked back in. This lady NEEDS help, unless they do not rent Uhaul any longer!!

Grado:

The personnel didn't seem to know how to do anything. I had prepaid online, but they kept getting some sort of error message on their computer every time they tried to get me checked out. Took quite a while before they figured it out.

A: the tongue on the 1st trailer needs replaced. The woman kept insisting our ball was the wrong size. My husband is a heavy-equipment operator/truck-driver. He's qualified to make the statement that there's something wrong with the trailer hitch. B: took over an hour to get a trailer and we had reserved one because we didn't have much time. C: we were quoted $29.99 for 24 hours. D: returned the trailer at 22 hours and was told "that will be $45.99". w.h.y? "Because there was a blanket/dolly on there." We never asked for or used the blanket or dolly. It was just in the corner and we were LATE getting out of the parking lot yesterday. E: took 45 minutes to return the stupid thing and she argued and argued trying to get an extra $15. Seriously? Oh...and the trailer that needs the hitch fixed is still sitting in the same spot. It needs fixed. It will come off of someone's hitch and possibly hurt somebody. It was not our ball...we carry several different sizes and we had the correct size. We will not ever use that u-haul location again. My husband is perturbed ... and he gets around and if someone needs a trailer, he will quietly suggest you use somewhere else. Sorry. Day 1 ... could be a bad day. Day 2 ... it's a pattern of shady business.

Grado:

The lady who helps us was rude and seemed overwhelmed with her job. It took almost an hour for us to pick up the uhaul because she kept stopping to check other customers out since it was in a gas station. But all she did was complain while helping us and other customers that's she was the only one there and the owners need to get her help on Sundays.
