I specifically did not pick this location because it had a very poor rating on several sites and because it closes at 230pm-the main reason I did not pick this location because I knew I could not return it within 24 hours. On top of this, it has ZERO moving supplies (i.e. Mattress Bags). Uhaul CHANGED my preferred pick-up location to the this one. Which meant I had to scramble to figure out what to do...especially because this location did not call me to confirm the day before pick up AS REQUESTED. I got an email from them at 726pm the night before pickup...which only added stress onto the alread stressful situation of moving. I had to live chat uhaul-which the customer service rep was not able to help me with because he had no access to moving equipment and sent me a phone number to call. After being on hold with that number for 45 minutes, I hung up. Then contacting uhaul via their Facebook page-where they customer service reps. They were helpful and helped extend the return time...but overall the situation leading up to picking up the truck was very stressful, the location closed early, it was dirty, we had to stand in a long with gas customers and the computer system was extremely slow. Plus, they did not explain anything to us-about the truck, about payment being charged at pickup-nothing.

I was redirected to this location as the one I wanted did not have the large truck I needed. The attendant at this gas station did not seem to be familiar with the U Haul computer process and had to go through the process at least 4 times. He was the only attendant in the store and had to take care of all the other customers in addition to those waiting to rent a truck. The money for the deposit/hold still has not been released after 3 weeks. I used less than 1/2 tank of gas, but was charged for a full tank. This has been an extremely unsatisfactory experience.

Was at location for over an hour even after I completed the online check in. Location did not have the dolly I reserved or moving blankets.

The worker at the store was alone to handle all the business that busy morning. I took an hour to check out and when I returned the truck at the other location I was told that my reservation was wrong and the lady was awesome and adjusted it for me.

Attendant had no idea how to rent vehicle waited for over 30 min and at the end had to enter information into system and finish rental myself. I should be paid for performing the work myself. Horrible service, inside of truck was not swept and no packing quilts were available as requested. No contract could be printed so I never signed an agreement or agreed to extra charges. Fuel level was not at stated level

Before dropping off uhaul I called to verify that they were open and/or had a 24 hour drop off. The lady that I spoke with didn't have a clue if they even accepted uhauls there and didn't have a clue what the process was to even return the uhual. When I got to the store to drop off she was like you can drop it off in parking lot and put keys wherever. Very rude and no customer service skills.

He just needs someone else who is willing to learn how to rent the equipment out. I did not realize how much and just what he has to do when someone rents. I did have to wait a while opposed to already being ready for the customer. However when he arrived, he took the time to explain his process and he was very kind. Even feeling rushed by my movers he made that not so stressful. He is another awesome person to rent from like stack and store. I would definitely go back to his location. It is great for me to have someone like him because I have had major problems at other uhaul locations. Great Man!

This review is for the Aberdeen Exxon who had the original reservation and not for Aberdeen Shell. Reservation was confirmed but site was not ready to deliver the vehicle. Had to go to an alternate location.

Have paperwork ready. Had to wait almost 15 minutes to get truck due to him being only person trying to take care of walkin customers as well as print paperwork..once papers were ready it was pretty quick and painless.

Being a convenience store is very convenient, but it sure makes he customer feel a bit awkward and rushed when there are other customers behind the renter. This can cause the rental agent to make serious mistakes & charge frivolously. Secondarily, I reserved my rental on-line but had to provide the same information to the agent. What's the point of entering it initially if the agent is going to reask the same questions? The 3 star rating was given because the van I rented was brand new...only 29 miles on it. Smelled new & drove like a dream. Correct the other issues & ratings will almost certainly increase.

Guy tried to make me unhook the trailer and do everything myself. No help backing up either. Eventually after the 35 minutes i was there i just handed him the keys. He insisted i stayed til his guy cake to unhook it but i expected to just drop it off, not do everything on my own.

Cab smelled like roaches and I could have saved 40 bucks if They would have told me to drive it back to the location I got it and it would have been an in town rate and I saved $40 instead they charged me $110 for one hour of use 27 miles on a one way. On top of that the customer service rep I talk to said that they were independent company and that they had no control over it. to me if U-Haul has their name at this place they should be responsible. do you agree? rap also told me to read an entire contract before I sign it and it was disrespectful.
