There is only 1 employee who can get your truck. I had to wait an hour since he was at lunch. When I tried to return the truck, the uhaul website couldn't verify my location. There needs to be another easy way to check in than calling. I still had an issue with my invoice.

Overall I enjoy my experience with uhaul. Never had any issues at any of the locations. The Uhaul reps I have had the opportunity to deal with so far are helpful and courteous. My last experience was a bit frustrating as I rented a truck for 1 days and was going to be charged for 3 days. Fortunately uhaul diligently worked with me to get the issue resolved. I'd say improvement should come in a form of a small tweak when it comes to the return process especially the off hours returns.

I am too old to play "The Shell Game" with merchants of any vocation. I can never understand how, in a goliath corporation like U-Haul, the right hand (corporate) doesn't know what the left hand (franchisee) is doing. I rented a van from Apex Automotive, the personnel were friendly and seemed efficient in supplying a clean truck expediently. It was right on time after I rented online for 9:00 am pickup. The trouble was in the conclusion of the rental. At some point during the day, U-HAUL ONLINE sent me a text message that said: Thank you for choosing U-Haul! Your order number is : 27548094. Your rental is due back in 24 hours at 5:00pm EST. Your drop-off location is APEX AUTOMOTIVE located at 3200 FAIRLANE FARMS RD NO 3, WELLINGTON FL. For help or to return your truck using just your phone, follow this link: https://uhaul.com/Orders/OrderDetail.aspx?resid=27548094&ln=Martinez I took that AT FACE VALUE, CLESRLY STATING THAT I HAD UNTIL THE NEXT DAY AT 5:00 PM. NEXT DAY. That's what it says, correct? In proverbial black and white, correct? I also dislike playing "Guess The Number In My Head" with anybody, socially OR professionally. I was overjoyed when I saw your text because frankly, we have alot to move and it made the move go a lot more cohesively. In my receipt of that text, I believed that was that. I was alarmed the following morning to be called by Apex Automotive twice, while I was deep in the middle of loading and hauling a 2200 square foot household. At the time I was able to get to my phone, I IMMEDIATELY called Apex and was informed that your truck "was due back YESTERDAY." I was also informed by Travis that, "you said you just needed it for the day, so we expect it back yesterday." If you check the time stamp on YOUR TEXT to me, that, TO ME, that THAT, AS STATED IN YOUR TEXT, IMPLIED THE CONDITION OF MY RENTAL. I dont appreciate this kind of business and I am going to contest the charge with my credit card. Mia Martinez

See if this location can get weekend hours or longer weekday hours. Also the guy who checked us out for the truck told us that if we had any issues with checking in the truck online since they were going to be closed when we brought it back that we could call customer service and they could help us. We tried that option because the website was glitching and after being on hold with customer service for 30 minutes I ended up getting told that I couldn’t. So there needs to be some more clear communication between the corporation and the guys that are in direct contact with the customers as to what can and can not be done.

This location was good. However, the location at Benoist Farms Road, I believe it's call MSS Petroleum was extremely disappointing. I reserved a 26' truck for 9am on 9/1/18 and received a call 8/31/18 that the truck would not be returned/ready until 11 am on 9/1 - ok, so I arrived at 11 am, no truck, no idea when it would be returned and no substitution was made available I returned at 12:30, still no truck. I went online - the system accepted a reservation for a 26' truck at the Apex location for 2pm. I went to Apex and I was informed there were no 26' trucks in the area and that the system takes reservations and gives confirmation of reservation and then searches for a truck somewhere in the area. If a truck is found the customer is then sent a notice as to which location they can pick it up? Obviously this didn't work. I had people waiting to help me move from 9am Saturday until I finally came back with a truck at 2pm. Just thankful I did not hire people and have to pay them for that wasted time. Additionally I have been forced to reserve another rental for 9/8/18 because of the loss of time and the fact that the only truck available was a 15; one, not 26' which also resulted in extra trips and extra miles at 1.19/mile. I only used U-Haul for the 9/8/18 rental because the agent at Apex worked hard to provide a truck on 9/1/18. I reread the "reservation guarantee" rules and according to your rules I should be given either one or two $50 payments for your failure to provide the truck you confirmed reservations on at two locations.

very long wait. rental agent seemed more interested in the auto repair side of his business than the uhaul rental. after specifically telling agent that i did not want him to assign a specific return location, he did it anyway and it caused me a major headache when i got there. average at best service

the level of quality of customer service was very poor... the worker named anthony was very flippant with me due to the following concerns... ...was never disclosed about the right size of truck...did not need the one I rented and I felt I was ripped off of $10... ...was never disclosed that unused blankets were not returnable and he said if you use blankets or not, they never refund your money...we thought we needed a package of 5 blankets, never touched them, they were still in the package and he charged us $5, which we felt was another rip-off... ....was extremely surprised that u-haul does not accept any members from triple "A", or AARP....and that anthony was very insensitive to that.... ....was never disclosed that your trucks get ONLY about 9-10 miles per gallon of gas...when we filled the tank up, we were astounded as to how much we paid driving only @59 miles...we felt very ripped-off to have spend over $16 for gasoline for that amount of mileage and using 6 gallons of gas..!! ,,,,anthony was very disrespectful...we had a death in the family this past week and called him a few times to re-arrange due to going through a grieving process and uncertain when we were able to actually rent...that's all he said was that "...you were the worst customers I had because you called me so many times.." can you believe that?...for a customer service rep to say such an aggressive statement to a customer....how insulting... ...overall, this u-haul experience was appalling...since it was our 1st time ever to rent a larger truck, we felt the quality of your customer service was quite unprofessional and this anthony had a very snide attitude, never disclosing to us all the details, fees, no return policies, etc...overall, we felt we were ripped-off by him because he simply did not supply an honorable level of disclosure for novice renters as ourselves... ...how could we ever refer anyone to U-haul with such lackluster experience from this store site of yours..?
