My reservation was canceled by the owner and was then rebooked by him but only after I called to confirm the pick up. The free trailer that I was told was part of my reservation was canceled and not rebooked because I was told uhaul doesn't give anything away for free even though I have text messages to prove it is what I was offered by the uhaul rep.Sarah O.

First of all I have used uhaul many times in my life with much success. This time in particular was awful!! I reserved my truck 3 weeks in advance and every week sometime multiple times a week they called me to change locations, equipment, times etc. FINALLY, we secured the truck we wanted (so we thought) however it was an hour away from our home. We were ensured that the truck could be picked up after hours from said location. We arrived atthe location at 6:00pm (2hours afterthe locations closed) and I tired using the online check in for my "special instructions" to get the truck keys. After much frustration I had to call uhaul... I spoke to several different customer service assistants (was disconnected multiple times) and they were not at all helpful. Finally after an hour on the phone the owner of the property arrived. He explained that this is not an after hours pick up site and he could not let the truck go until uhaul called to confirm we signed the contract. Back we go on the phone... the lady on the other line asked us to go knock on his door and get him to open up shop... TOTALLY NOT HIS JOB... so back I go to bother the poor guy... he was amazing by the way.. He explained that he needed approval to give us the keys so we called uhaul again!! Finally we got someone to call him to give him the go ahead... so after 2 hours waiting on and off the phone we got our truck! That was the worst experience I have ever had with any company and next time I will not be using uhaul! I will be paying the extra money to hire a professional company. What a frustrating horrible experience!!Riley E.
Paperwork said to call ahead. I called several times and nobody answered. I was an hour and a half late and got charged an extra day. I tried to check out on my smart phone but couldn't get a cell signal at the drop off location. The drop off was very frustrating, but finding out a day later that I was charged an additional day is unbelievable. Especially given how expensive the rental was to begin with.BRIAN A.
App failed again at drop off. Doesn't like to take a selfie and then upload it. Just fails. Dealer again at this location was amazing. Saw me struggling, took over the drop off processed. 5 mins and I was on my way home.Kyle B.
Improve by following through on 1st reservation. Over 5 times my rental was canceled and then we ended up with a 26ft truck when we asked for a 10 ft. And charged extra which wasn't even suppose to happen if first reservation was followed through. I had to drive to trout creek to pick up and location was north bay ontario. So that's extra miles versus North Bay ontario. So improve by not ripping people off !!! And following through what your agents say. I was told I'd be charged 250 because 10 ft truck wasn't available. Well that was lies as well because I paid 487 plus another 160 in charges. Plus 250 worth of gas. So stop ripping off good people !!!!!! I've used uhaul many times yet now from this last experience may be my last. Because your agents lie and other charges are added without knowledge to customer. So improve uhaul by not ripping people off. And they also wouldn't let use my tax exempt card. So that also irritated me, so now you're also denying us our rights. Shame on this company for the lies they tell.Lori T.
