The automated process using your smart phone takes way too long and I had to sit and wait over 10 minutes for "approval" process. Thankfully the staff onsite were able to help and and get me on my way, quickly.

The 24/7 trucks hare system did not work. I tried to log into the system 2 times both times got (cannot verify virtually). I called support sfte rthe first. Time and they said I should be able to try again an ditll. Go through. Called after the second failure and was told my account is not working and need to speak with a third rep. After the third rep told me my account is locked and I need to wait 5-6 hours I asked to speak to a manager who was able to verify while I held her on the phone while using the system. Wasted so much time and if I hadn't escalated things I'd be stuck looking around. Will use zipcar or enterprise or something next time

I was told there was half a thank of gas in the truck when I rented it. When I got in, I saw that there was only about a quarter. I had to ask that the form be corrected, and I filled up the tank after use to about a quarter (a little more), to the amount where i got it. But then my credit card was charged extra. I'm not happy, for one, being told there was 1/2 tank when there wasn't (I felt I was being tricked into paying for their gas), and then getting charged.

One thing I noticed was there was not a lot of room on the lot when I returned the truck at 10:00pm. Some trucks were blocking others, and it took me awhile to find a spot to park it. Should make it more clear where to go

The truck loading carriage had a foul and pungent smelling rug / carpet left in it as the representative was clearing it out. That item had left a very bad smell in there which sort of traveled into our mattresses we were transporting. Other than that, the EZ fuel surcharge was a surprise, but after calling customer service the incidental was taken off because I had made sure to overcompensate the needle I.e. beyond the 3/4th line so It is nice that my request was entertained. I will come back here. I had requested the 9ft van but it wasn't available, so was compensated with a replacement truck which solved the problem.

I have been renting vehicles for over 7 years now and the service that I received was by far the worst that I've ever experienced. Prior to reserving my Uhaul, I called customer service to ensure that the payment method that I needed to use would be okay. The agent that I spoke with confirmed that any Visa or Visa debit card would be accepted. When I arrived to pickup the Uhaul I was told that my Visa Devit Card would not be accepted for a van. When I explained that I called customer service and clarified this the day prior I was told that their was nothing at the store that they could do. Due to the fact that I had driven into town and only brought that card it was even more disappointing. I then had to spend the next two hours on the phone with over 6 different customer service agents who each gave me different answers and promised to transfer me to departments that ended up taking me back to the general phone line. 1. The customer service agent in store told me that I could pay over the phone so I called to pay over the phone 2. The first agent over the phone said that payment could not be processed over the phone and advised me that I could pay online on the app. She than spent 50 minutes trying to guide me to the page on the site that would let me pay with a Visa debit card that did not exist. Prior to realizing that she wasted my time she said that she was going to transfer me to technical support and lied and transferred me to the general line where I had to start the whole process again 3. The next agent confirmed that payment could be made if I was transferred to the reservations department. After waiting another 15 minutes when I finally reached an agent the new agent explained that Van's cannot use Vida Debit at all. 4. She than transferred me to the general line where I had to start over and the new agent advises that they could switch me to the truck where only $100 needed to be held. They also told me that they would give me a $50 credit for the inconvenience. She than transferred me to another agent to process the new truck which again took me to the general line 5. The new agent that I spoke with had no knowledge of the credit. The agent in store than said that I could pay $100 in store and the agent on the phone said this would be reimbursed the same day. After 2 hours of waiting and finally getting the keys we took the truck and when we returned to get reimbursed we were than told that I would have to wait 5 to 7 weeks to get a refund despite what I was told earlier. After disputing this and explaining that this wasn't fair I was told that I would be reimbursed on my Brexit card in 5 to 7 days and the agent was really rude about it. I'm really disappointed as I've never herd of anyone having service like this and it was my first time using Uhaul.

The truck smelled like an homeless man. The location is not accurately measuring the miles and fuel. Thankfully I had recorded the miles and fuel gauge, so I got the refund. It’s reflected in my refund. Please look into the location practices.

Tires were under inflated by 30psi. Left valve stem was broken and leaking. Was repaired while traveling. One chain was missing from hitch. Trailer was dirty.

Everything went just fine. I was a bit confused by the key drop off, because I didn't know if the attendant was just gone for a while or if it was an "after-hours" return. But it all worked out in the end.
