The process for uploading a photo ID would not work from my phone. There was no other option offered. What should have been a quick 5-10 minute process turned into almost an hour and a half. The person helping us was great. They got U-haul on the phone more than once but with no assistance provided. It is absolutely unreasonable that an employee cannot look at a valid drivers license and confirm that the person present is in fact the person on said ID and move on. The photos uploaded OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN were crystal clear on the phone and on the computer in the office. When the system is rejecting it for some unknown reason, there MUST be a way to override it. We missed our window for getting started loading because of this unreasonable delay and the toll it took on our passengers. The employees did their best. U-haul needs to fix their system!
