When I returned the equipment on Friday June 22nd, there was only one employee working and performing a few tasks. There should be at least two people working at all times.

The individual that checked in our truck was rude and unfriendly. He acted like it was a huge inconvenience for him to check in our truck (that we returned a full day early) and when my fiancee explained that we made sure that there was more than 3/4 a tank of gas he acted like we did not fill the tank enough. Only after we produced our paperwork showing the fuel level we were required to have upon return did he agree that we had fulfilled our obligation. I would never drop off or rent from this location based on the rude service.

This has nothing to do with the pick-up or drop-off location, but you really need cruise control in your trucks. I just drove 2230 miles (Tempe, AZ to Leland, NC) in a 15' and it was miserable. The truck ran perfectly, good AC, decent mileage all things considered, but the lack of cruise will keep me from using UHaul again. Penske and Budget trucks have cruise.

When calling into another location, they recommended me to this location even though it was 10 miles out of the way from the direction I needed to go. Upon doing so they didn't confirm the reservation of the truck so when I got to the location the truck that was 'reserved' actually wasn't there. I had to get a different truck when there. That was of course after having to wait 20 minutes to be attended to in the office. When we finally got the truck sorted out the keys were handed to me and I was pointed in the direction of where the vehicle was. We did not go through a normal inspection process on the truck prior to me leaving nor was I shown anything in the truck. When returning the van I also was met with the same treatment. We did not go through an inspection there and then and were instructed to leave the truck and we were 'all good'. It seems that one of the employees was very new and didn't really understand the job fully yet let alone any customer service. The person that appeared to be in charge at the time seemed very knowledgeable of the location and equipment there, but likely having a bad night, but overall what proved to be a bad customer experience for me was the phone rep from a different location who didn't pay it forward, but provided a horrible customer experience.

Your online checkin/out process is great, with one exception. It defeats the purpose when I have to wait in line for 30 minutes for the employee to hand me the key. Create a separate line or spot just for people that need to pick up a key who have already done everything online. There were other employees who were not busy, but apparently they aren't allowed to do anything at the registers? Cross-train them to get people in and out faster, please.

After hours customer service: This could use A LOT OF WORK... It should be an embarrassment when multiple people can't answer a simple question "how does the online drop off after hours work?" I was having trouble with getting my info as my reservation # wasn't pulling anything. First I was told it was my gps location: This made no sense as I was simply logging on to verify my count showed what I had out. I could understand if my GPS needed to be turned on if I were trying to check in at certain location & my location needed to be closer. At this time I was simply logging on to make sure I could return the truck And that I wouldn't have any issues when returning the vehicle after hours. I was placed on hold multiple times & transferred around, nobody seemed to be able to answer the question on why my acount wasn't being pulled up with what I had a rented. I had downloaded the app and tried going this route. I was then told the app isn't always the best option & to go from using online browser which I did and still was having issues. Finally, after 30 minutes of being transferred to multiple different people I was told "I'm sorry ma'am there's nothing more I can do for you it must be your phone." This seemed to be very callous way of handling it situation. If they didn't know the answer they could have been honest and said "we don't know right now but we will make sure we find the answer for you & give you a call back." Issue # 2... ?? (7:07pm) AZ time. I had arrived back to return the truck earlier than expected as I had rented it for 2 days but was able to get everything done in one day. While not having the clearest understanding (steaming from incident #1) I was able to go online and follow the directions per what was written online. While talking to somebody earlier on the phone in between being transferred multiple times they advised me that when I arrived to call and let the customer service after hours person know that I had returned the truck so they could document it on my account. Once I arrived I made the phone call in the person who spoke with was as much of a pain in the ass as the people from incident #1 ?????? When I had called I told him that I was returning the truck and I was advised to call when I arrived to document it in my file. He told me that it wasn't necessary to call and to call tomorrow morning 1st thing when the office opened up for my location to let them know I had returned the truck. I quickly became frustrated and reminded him that all calls are recorded and monitored for quality assurance purposes and that I am asking for him to document in my file that I am calling & returning the truck. Overall horrible experience with CS / after hours

Really was not the location as is the Uhaul people I called to reserve trailer. They gave me reservation number, confirmed MY phone number, asked for MY EMAIL address and STILL when I went to pick up trailer, somehow, there was NO RESERVATION for me!! I received email with confirmation number... gave to them and somehow... MY phone number, MY EMAIL address, MY confirmation was written down for some fellow in Spokane WA, and even had MY car WRONG! This now is the 2nd time I had horrible experience with Uhaul, I tried a different location and all, because the last time, (Nov 2017) was again horrible! NEVER AGAIN! Very disappointed with entire experience. No wonder our company, which MOVES ENTIRE FAMILIES ACROSS THE US AND WORLD, quit using Uhaul and went with other more expensive companies. Not angry at any one person, it's the whole system... something is really messed up. And... not to mention, you failed to protect the sensitive information of a prior customer by giving me his FULL NAME and personal address. Considering writing him to let him know your failure. How many others personal information has been sent out like this. What a mess... I advise you to find the issue and fix with lightning speed!

Uhaul asked me to drop the truck off at this location vs the one I originally wanted. Uhaul offered to give me an additional 20 miles and to bring the truck back with a quarter tank of fuel as a thank you for taking the truck to different location. I returned the truck with a little over half a tank of fuel. If I don't return the truck with the same amount of fuel I received it with...I get charged. Why don't I get a credit if I return the truck with more fuel than I got the truck with??

Customer service is non existent and non responsive at this location. The representatives were very polite, and promised to remove an item charged on the bill. Item was not taken off, and I was also charged for fuel - even after I filled it to the same level. (Photo proof of fuel level was sent in email.) Phone calls to this store are forwarded to the central line, I've explained everything three times, promised a call back, and still no reply from anyone here. I'm trying to resolve it, but the store won't return my calls and emails. Extremely frustrated. Why can't the central line correct my bill? Answer is that the store must resolve it. Someone answer and correct our bill. Would have rated higher if my bill would be resolved.
