Disappointed in U-Haul, I made this reservation over a month in advance and a couple of days before the move they changed the pick up location which I understand does happen depending on demand and supply- however the new location was on the otherside of Toronto and when I called U-Haul I was told that they were short on trucks so clearly it made no difference reserving the truck over a month in advance. Original pick up location was up the street from the loading site and the new location was clear across Toronto which made it more difficult to navigate the movers and timing not to mention the distance. The locations hours online stated that they would be open at the time of pick up (I need to buy mattress bags last minute) but they were closed and the gas tank in the truck was almost on empty - had to stop for fuel before getting back to the address where we were loading up - took an hour of travel to get there with the traffic and over an hour to get back to the loading location. The only reason I did not rate below average, based on my prior experiences with U-Haul, is that the change in pick up location is not the fault of Weston Box Express. The truck was clean however they left almost no gas in the tank and the office was closed on pick up.

This U-Haul location is not a great one: 1/ No explanation on the rental (2 minutes there with the key and then selling a lock) 2/ The lock sold ended being jammed and stuck while I was offloading the truck at my destination in Montreal at 09.00 pm therefore I couldn't finish my move properly on time which impacted me financially having to come back the next morning to get some help from UHAUL's team of Jean Talon - Montreal (great support). I demand compensation for the lock, 3 Uber I had to take and a compensation for my water time. No feedback so far and it is extremely difficult to get a Manager to consider me as a client!! I am waiting for someone to fix this issue (Gregory Ogorek - 647-648-6959) FYI, I am renting a truck on April 25th again!

brad sI was charged for 26 truck but I took 20 truck. The contract was not sent to us from the dealer. We called him several times and he keeps saying he will send it by email. Upon returning the truck there was a total controversy about the payment. Guys beware of this location
