When I originally dropped it off on what I thought was the drop off location. It was ok. When I had gotten a phone call from U-Haul, asking about the rental. I had told her that I had dropped off at the wrong location, and she said that she would take care of it. And then I had gotten a phone call today, and I had explained it to them on what had happened. I will try U-Haul for a second time, but I Will see how it goes And if I have anymore problems with it, renting a U-Haul, I will not try U-Haul again.

I contracted a vehicle from this location, however i was told the trk was located 20 miles away. I was supplied a vehicle for one day rather than the two days I had originally contracted for from this site. Nervous,stressful day that I didnt need with this move. Kudo's to the employee at this site.

Lots of problems with Uhaul corporate. I ordered a 5' by 8' foot trailer from a different location, but Uhaul sent me to another one. When I got there, I was told I have a upgrade because no 5' by 8' was available. The "free" upgrade was no free however as I was charged full price. Luckily, the location had a 5' by 8'? But the lights didn't work! Finally, I was given the 6' by 12' for the 5' by 8' price. Not good!

The pick up location was fine. The woman nice and apologetic. However, our pick up place had been changed and we were not notified. We booked for 9:00 and went to the original pick up. When we got there they said our place had been changed. We had not gotten any notification of this. He had the size truck we needed, but sent us on our way to our new pick up point. When we got there, they were not open and did not open until 10. I called the customer 800 number who double checked for us and said we were in the right place..but she also said we had not been sent an email. So we wait. The person when she came in did not know anything so she had to open the computer, scurry to go check the truck, hurry to get paperwork done. We in the meantime lost some of our movers that we had enlisted to come at 10 and we were not there because we were changed ...both pickup place and pickup time. Because of this we were not happy. We cannot blame the new pickup place...only the powers that be at U-Haul who decided to change times and place at O dark hundred on a Sunday and not notify us.

Pick up location was changed 2 days before the move. Adding 30 miles each way to our trip. And of course we have to pay for those miles. When you change the location at the last minute......YOU should cover the extra miles.

Whole pick up experience was awful. reserved a 20' truck, was contacted the day before saying they only had a 15'. Went to get the truck and it wasn't even there and was told I would have to wait until the next day. Ended up finding a 15' truck that day but was unable to fit everything in, I needed the 20' truck I had reserved. This resulted in me driving 8+ hours to get the rest of my stuff. Hopefully I don't have to move again soon but if so I will consider other options before U-Haul if this is any indication of how you conduct your business.

When I placed my reservation over the phone, I was informed that I would have a 26' truck. The day before pick-up, I was told the only trucks available were 15' unless I wanted to drive to another location an hour and a half away. Also, the price I was quoted over the phone was not even close to what I was charged. Extremely disappointment in Uhaul - if there was another option in the area, I would have used it. Never will use your service again - for what I ended up paying I could have hired movers to do it for me.

Overall, we had a poor experience with U-Haul. The company changed our location the day before our move which also changed the pick up time. This would have given us less time for the move. We had to do a lot of running around to get this to work for us. When we got to our location, the appliance dolly was not in the truck, but I had it reserved. This meant we were not able to move the appliances and are still working on getting that done. There appeared to be a lot of disorganization in general with the whole experience, starting with the company and down to where we picked it up.

I went to pick the truck up, the guy checked me in, handed me the keys, he didn't do a walk around the truck or check the gas that was in the truck. He said it was half a tank and it was under. Almost 1 quarter of gas was missing from the half. The guy asked me if I wanted to drop of the truck at another location, so I told him well if I can do that I would rather do that since I'm moving 30 to 40 miles away. He didnt say a word. He just wrote on a paper the address to the uhaul location where I was moving to. He never told me about extra charges for dropping off the truck at another location, that he himself offered me to drop it off somewhere else. So I leave with the truck and returned it the next day to another location (one way route) where i was offered to drop the truck off and was charged double for dropping it off at this location. I dropped off the truck at another location, the truck could not be checked in until 3 days later and I got a bill of almost $600 dollars. I am not happy at all. Employees need better training. Uhaul rep said all she could do is put in a dispute.

Fastest check through ever. Tina knows her stuff. While I couldn't give her an A+, because we forgot about the dolly and I had to return to get it, I will excuse the oversight because at the same time she was dealing with a FedEx service whose computer was not cooperating. At any rate, she handled all customers, there were three at the time I was there, with care and explained what could go wrong and possible glitches. I would definitely, rent from them again. In fact, I did three days later.

Fire the guy on Sunday that " checked us in ,i think his name was John!! accusing me from being from Montana". I'm from Wisconsin forever!! Of course he messed up the paperwork trying to charge us more for miles, that we never put on!!! And we proved that. We brought the u haul back, cleaned, completely full and even swept the back. Tina, on the other hand was very helpful in fixing his mistakes, she made sure we were charged appropriately and Tina truly cared to rectify and fix his rude mistakes!!

Chains were missing rubber straps to keep the chains on so the chain fell off. The drivers side light fell off going through Chicago. The light then fell off again going through Indiana. Finally fell off and got lost somewhere.

Had to return a 20 foot uhaul that we had for the entire day I then had to rent a 10 foot for another charge to finish my job. The 20 foot truck did not have a muffler and the 10 foot did not have air on the hottest day this summer. I rented like 100 hauls in the last 2 years I will never rent another
