Computer system was down and everyone had to wait for approximately an hour. The staff handled the issues very professionally, communicated well, offered assistance. I was then later that evening overcharged by $100 which I was pretty ticked about. I called up and politely explained my experience then immediately was offered to have it refunded and apologized to. Less than 2 minutes on the phone and it was resolved. Thanks so much guys

The customer service was horrendous, the employee slowly walked into the store with a huge line of customers texting and then once she sat down didn’t say hello or apologize for taking her time but while still looking at her phone said “what do you need” however the drop of guy was super nice

I have used The interbay Seattle uhaul 3 times not and the experience has been Usually terrible. Today changed my entire opinion. The man who helped me today went above and beyond. From checking me in very quickly and getting my vehicle and materials to me showing up 5 minutes after closing and he still helped check the vehicle back in when he didn’t need to. Normally the staff is simply lazy and acts like they don’t give one once of care in the world for you but this man was amazing. I wish I remembered his name because he really made a fantastic impression and represented uhaul very well.

There was only one person at the counter and the computer system apparently "Crashed". And the person/manager (who was very helpful and kind once she did help) was in a position of quitting due to circumstances that were heard over a phone call with a boss. (Eventually another person arrived to help.) Since the system crashed everything had to be entered by hand. The paper was not easy to fill out. The time I waited 50 min in a line with about 15 people during COVID. Prior to Interbay location, I had reservations but the truck was not at the location, so I went to the Interbay location, It was fairly intense and chaotic. UHAUL COULD DEFINITELY IMPROVE. Even on the phone when I called to try to get the UHAUL after the truck had not been returned/ or my reservation cancelled. I'm thankful I got a UHAUL though it delayed our move several hours to get a UHAUL. The only bonus was to 50.00 dollars off. The guy who checked in the vehicle at Interbay seemed efficient and helpful as well- so at least that. But seriously UHAUL could improve.

Understaffed location with one employee there and a line of people. I reserved a truck and when I showed up they had already given them all away. Truck was in bad condition with cigarette burns in the dash.

Arrived at 8am (opening time) no employees showed up. Waited with about 10-15 people until someone showed up at 9:30am finally. Attempted to leave with truck finally two hours later and as leaving truck was on E and took a look to find that someone had cut the fuel line and siphon all the gas so had to return truck. If there is another Uhaul type business I will use them next time.

I tried to call multiple times to inform them I would be returning the truck late. And later I got an unpleasant voicemail asking where the truck was and that I had to return it so it could be rented again. Only to later discover their lot has a dozen of the same size truck.

I was charged for a dolly, which was not in the van. I asked customer service to remove the dolly charge from my order, and they did not comply. It was very confusing and difficult to check out a van using the virtual process during covid.

Our truck was given to us late and the manager was snarky about us showing up 15 minutes late. This office didn't seem the most organized and I'll likely be using the Ballard or Rainier location for my next move

I got charged for 3.3 gallons of fuel when I only ran the odometer up 12 miles (and this is after I already put a gallon into the van myself.) Obviously this isn't the end of the world, but getting nickel and dimed definitely sours the overall experience.

The gal working was by herself until 10:16 am when a fellow showed up to help her. By this time, there were several people outside on line. She did great, but it was too much for 1 person. Maybe you should stagger the reservation times.

They charge me $50 cleaning fee. For what? This is unacceptable. I won’t use uhaul ever.

After returning the tow dolly I rented 3.5 hours after renting it, I was Constantly harassed by U-Haul for the next 3 days With the caller each time claiming I had not returned the tow dolly. Want to talk about frustrating, imagine the thought of being threatened with a replacement cost of a piece of equipment you had returned in the same condition you picked it up just due to pure incompetence. Never again U-Haul. Never again.

used app but forced to wait in line for 90 minutes just to be given a truck that was locked and they could not unlock. Another 45 minute wait and forced to accept a smaller truck.

I arrived to pick up my reserved truck at 7am on Friday, May 15th. the woman on duty exhibited the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. She would barely speak to me and provided almost no information in answer to any of my questions. She was rude and acted as though I was nothing but an inconvenience. She signed out a truck to me that was blocked in by other trucks and was annoyed when I said I could not access the truck. She wouldn't speak to me as she signed out another truck. All in all a very unpleasant experience. I returned the truck at 7:30pm on Friday, 15 May. The two young women I interacted with where very nice, but the woman checking me out didn't communicate that I was short on gas. I thought I returned the gas level correctly, but only found out after receiving the emailed receipt that I was short and had been charged $60 dollars. It would have been nice to know I was short and be given the opportunity to correct the gas level myself. I left with no communication that there would be additional charges billed to me. All in all a very poor showing of customer service. I will not be returning as there are plenty of other truck rental options. I will not be recommending others to experience this same level of treatment and communication.
