The location was a little hard to find and a little messy, but the equipment and service was excellent.

Not happy about them adding a large fee to drop off there
Jenny DIf the place was less of a shack and more of a store it would be better. But it’s very nice that it’s convenient.

ESTHER AYes, this store manager was quite proficient with everything, but my opinion of UHaul as a company is quite poor. First, I had reserved a truck and trailer on Gilbert rd in Gilbert and then was sent 9 miles away to this other location for the truck...only. For the trailer I sent 12 miles to another location in Mesa, which took an hour to get because the business proprietor had not been properly trained yet. In my destination of LA, I had to take the trailer all the way to Crenshaw in LA--quite a drive in LA. I also find that the closest Uhaul self storage in 7 miles away, so I just got another storage place--with an offer of first month free anyway. upon returning the truck in Santa Monica, I am told that I gone 39 miles over my allotted amount, for a charge of $39 plus tax. I question your odometer over this. I did visit my Aunt in Indio, 3 miles off freeway and 3 back totaling 6. Then there was the trip 12 miles to Crenshaw and 12 back for 24. Then 6 or so more in Santa Monica for storage and truck return. This comes to 36 give or take. Upon renting I was told I would get 60 extra miles over my 407 estimated distance of my journey. This indicates that the truck's odometer to be off by more than 60 miles over my roughly 443 miles of driving, an error of 13.54%. This is not okay! A partial refund is warranted.
