The four locations I visited over the course of 3.5 hours to pick up a trailer that was not at the location where it had been reserved were very nice and helpful. The fact that the reservation system didn't work and that I was sent to multiple locations by UHaul to find a trailer was ridiculous. Don't make reservation promises if there is no intent to keep them,

She was rude and abrasive and then she lectured me on not having the contract even tho I had the contract number and emails of my confirmation. No one told me that I would need the contract to drop it off. I've NEVER needed the paper contract to drop off. She told me that it was absolutely necessary. Apparently it wasn't because I did the give it to her and I still dropped off the trailer. It's too bad because it was a at a motorcycle shop and I would have given them my business but She's just not nice. I won't use this location again, nor will I buy my moto parts there. I prefer to give my hard earned dollars to people that APPRECIATE my business without attitude and rudeness.

My comment has nothing to do with either location, but Uhaul itself. I paid for a trailer for a one way move about 3 hours from point A to point B. I gladly paid for the convenience of a one-way, despite the higher cost, due to the convenience needed on moving day as well as the 3-hour drive. Everything was great (except half the lights on the trailer not working) until I got a text stating that I would need to return the trailer to Sacramento- not Placerville. Thats almost a third of my way back to Santa Cruz. On moving day. My contract very clearly stated that I could return it in Placerville. When I called customer service, she apologized, explained the dilemma, and passed me off to the supervisor. Essentially, the supervisor told me that 1) it was "my problem" and that I was responsible for returning it to Sacramento despite what the contract said. 2) When I told her that the whole thing lacked integrity, she told me that I could call the local UHaul people in Placerville and hope that they would accept the trailer. I was told to call myself, despite a UHaul contract stating that Placerville was my-drop off. But Uhaul wouldn't help. 3) When I told her that There was no way to get back to Sacramento before the due time (nor should I have to), she told me that I would be charged for the additional day. At no point did Uhaul offer any solution, professionalism, flexibility. I even offered to hold the trailer on private property until a local Uhaul could accept it, or when I could drive an hour to Sacramento. I was being as flexible as possible. She again informed me that I would be charged for every 'late' day and that this was my problem. She was rude, argumentative, intent on 'winning', interrupted me repeatedly, and offered no explanation as to why it was my responsibility to figure this out and that "this wasn't a mistake" and that she didn't know what my problem was. And the sad thing? When I returned the trailer in PLacerville the following day, they said that they had tons of space and had no idea why Uhaul told me I could not drop it off there. Disorganized, sloppy, unethical. I wish I had a transcript of the phone call. At the top of the contract, it clearly stated (in more words) Santa Cruz to PLacerville for $200. But they had no way to honor that, or fix it when it went awry. And they didn't care to either. USE SOMEONE-ANYONE ELSE - FOR YOUR MOVING NEEDS. F- Grade

I don't know because I was told at SF location they would be open until 7 pm. I would have liked to talk with them about charges etc.

Very hard to find the dropoff spot, staff was unfriendly and unhelpful when uhaul was returned.

Have rented from them before... excellent and close to home!

The Personnel were strange.

The staff was nice, friendly, and efficient, especially the gentleman who helped with hitching the trailer. Good place to rent a U-Haul.

Excellent service. The location was fairly convenient, but the U-Haul website originally promised that the trailer would be at a different location (closer for us) and then changed it without asking.

On arrival Monday 26 December the lady stated "You're a day late!" Upon which I asked her if she was even open ON CHRISTMAS Day, Sunday. The location is difficult to find and even enter since it is at a traffic-lighted, busy three-way intersection (NOT at the U-Haul entrance) by the 101 freeway. I would have missed it if not for the prominent address '2871' at the top of the two story building fronting the street. Turns out the site is primarily a Harley Davidson dealer with a collateral U-Haul business. The man, who did little to help park the trailer, said "just tell her her hair looks good today." I had given the lady my contract to identify my account. When I went to the Harley Davidson desk I asked for the contract to be returned and she spent 20 minutes pulling parts out of the trash. She had disposed of the only receipt or evidence of my account and was reluctant to return the contract to me without my insistence. Equipment worked fine, but I would be hesitant of renting a one way again through U-Haul.

I was not happy with my recent experience with Uhaul and will never use their trucks again. First of all I was overcharged for a day I didn't use and then was charged $25 for not sweeping out the back of the truck when it wasn't that clean when I got it. $25 for a 2 second sweep when theres no way that they can justify the condition that it was left in because there was no lock for the back . Who know what could have been done in there or left in there overnight? Not cool.

I had a very good experience with my U haul purchase.

I think the person working there was smoking meth when I arrived.

Location was fine for me, but I don't think a female would feel too comfortable there due to the people hanging around and the secluded nature of the parking lot.

Extra blankets I requested were not available. Staff was friendly and helped work out the overcharge on the contract.

Cycle Imagery is a motor cycle shop that also provides U-Haul services. They aren't fully equipped like some of the larger U-Haul sites, but they have an excellent location for those of us mid-county, and the service was terrific. No complaints, just explaining the 'average' rating on the first question.

We were charged for furniture pads that we did not want, use, or receive!

The attendant, at first, didn't even come out from behind the counter to assist in attaching the trailer to the hitch on my car. When I asked for assistance, he clearly didn't even know what he was doing. Less than a mile from the business the trailer detached from the car and damaged my bumper. I called for assistance and the person who came out was with what looked to be a date. I had to wonder if this person was sober or of their right mind since their speech was slurred and they didn't even get out of their truck. Instead of asking pertinent questions about what happened, they asked about my rental and if I wanted someone to rent the place out to. I attached the trailer myself and was on my way. Upon return, another attendant barely acknowledged me. I pulled the trailer into an open parking spot where I'd seen trailers before and approached the counter. The attendant acted as if she didn't know what I was there for. She asked, how can I help you? "I'd like to return the trailer," I said. She charged me and that was all that she was going to do. I had to ask for assistance in taking the trailer off my hitch. In the process, the trailer nearly slid off the parking lot into an adjacent creek bed. I've never experienced anything quite so horrific as renting from this establishment.
