Felt scammed by the $25 brush-out penalty, for a tiny handful of dust. Same guy who loudly disputed my State-managed confidential address when I went to pick up. This just felt like retaliation in a very petty way, so will just go somewhere else next time.ALISON C.
Rude and unprofessional staff. I have rented U-haul before in MO. I was never asked or given a broom to go broom the floor of the van. And especially with no clear explanation and just by being irrespectful and redness. I had seen poor reviews about this place but went there anyway because it was closer to me. I was late by 10 minutes and the dealer started calling me and threatening that I have stolen the vehicle. He also started putting so many allegation on me and asked me to come to different location. I am being a lady I got panicked and I really don't recommend anybody to pickup the truck from this dealer. I like that this place was open at 7 a.m. compared to other U-Haul places that open at 9 or 10 a.m. Also, the family that runs this Postal Annex are super! I also like the computerized system that U-Haul has now. Super easy and cuts down on paperwork.CURTIS H.

The owner was not able to explain to me why I couldn't pay in cash instead of credit card. When I told him I'm thanking him out of politeness and I still couldn't understand why I can't pay in cash he got very upset. Then he continued yelling at me that he was doing me and uhaul a favor by renting their vans. Then the owner helper told me the van bed wasn't clean. I told him I didn't even use it and what he was referring to as dirt were marks embedded in the plastic cover. He tried to sweep so hard that he broke the broom. The marks didn't come off and it made him even more mad. At the same time the owner comes out and starts yelling at me from the open side door of the van. The helper tells me he was going to charge me for cleaning the van. It seems to me this man has no sense of customer service, can't explain himself, yells at his customers, and thinks he's doing customers and uhaul a favor by being in business. He seriously needs to be talked to. It was the most awful experience. This man turned a simple process to a chaos which I have never experienced in my life. When I called uhaul customer service they were very nice. She listened, reversed the $25 cleaning fee and most importantly thanked me for the business. Very professional customer service personnel. This was one of the best truck rentals I have experienced. Everything was carefully explained along with extra procedures for COVID. The person taking care of me was very well organized and thoughtful. The truck had been sanitized and was super clean. I would definitely go back.Stan W.

There are two staffs at the store and only one staff is helping the people that are falling in line. We supposed to pickup the truck at 4:30pm, the gentleman is busy assisting the people while the lady is doing something else. We asked her if she could help us and she just said you have to wait for your turn. But there's actually two staffs why can't she stop and help the gentleman so that the line will not be that long. Anyway, we ended up being assisted by the gentlemen because the lady is not helpful at all and we got the truck at 5:06pm. No wonder why the Google ratings of this place is 2.9 because the service is slow. No teamwork. No communication. Other colleague doesn't care with the customers. I would only give shout out to the gentleman that helped us and to all the customers in the line waiting.Benjamin B.

While returning the van, the owner gave me a broom and was like if you don't go clean the van I'll make you pay $25. He then shows pictures that clearly showed that the van WAS CLEAN. I never write reviews because I usually do not have any complaints about services in general. Im an easy-going person. But, I am writing this review to let others know and be aware of this location's poor service. 1. Express Check-in does not work (unless Uhaul defines express check-in as a service that takes 13 minutes.) - It does not work with this location. Had to wait 13 minutes to get a car key and do the paper work that I've already filled out online. Maybe I just did not know how to do it, but I was late to my appointment because of the delay. 2. Ripoff pricing. -Asked for a dolly that I forgot to add when I signed up online. The owner charged me $10, but it was $7 on the website. Brought up this information to the owner and he changed it as if he did not know about this pricing. 3. Cleaning Fee? And a broomstick?! - I used the van to move large boxes on a sunny dry day. Used for an hour. And there was no dust or whatsoever. The owner gave me a broomstick and told me to go clean the car because it was dirty. He said that I will be charged with cleaning fee. To avoid the fee, he said that I need to clean it. I did not complain and I double checked the car. It was completely clean. I brought this back up and the owner just said okay. Not sure what the intention was, but I felt disrespected with this type of service. Avoid this location.Jinsig M.

The uhaul van is given to me only for 6 hours , though I requested It for 24 hours . When I told him that I want it for some more time for moving my things , he refused my request & told to return early. My moving didn't go smooth & I was charged full rent for 24 hours. I will not recommend this location to my friend & I will think twice to rent from this location in the future.Sritej B.
