To Whom It May Concern, I feel compelled to write regarding a recent experience I had with your online service as well as the truck rental experience. On 4/1 I reserved a 20' truck for a move on 4/3 (see below). I arrived at the pick-up location and they were unaware of my reservation. It was explained to me that they don't coordinate with the online service, which begs the first question, WHAT!? If you have an online reservation system how is it not coordinated with your local vendors? I had planned my day, hired my movers, and expected to be done within 8 hours in order to get home and prep for the holiday. Instead, I wasted 2.5 hours trying to get a truck from Uhaul. They didn't even have the dolly or pads I ordered! They sent me 17 miles away for a truck which they finally found but the online system didn't recognize me, for one because the sales associate didn't advise me that I had a new confirmation # and two it would not recognize my sign-in information. I created a new username and password and signed in but it said I had completed the express check-in! It would not give me an option to PICK UP the truck. I wasn't even sure where the lockbox was until someone leaving the location told me. I called the sales associate, Casey, and explained the problem; Casey said they would have the traffic control office call me and help. Well, 20 minutes later and 3 other attempts to get back in touch with Casey and still no callback. Casey, supposedly "called again" and I spoke to a woman at the traffic office that helped me, but then she was over-charging me, which took another 20 min to figure out. I wound up being a half-hour late for the movers, who were being paid $85 per hour and we worked until 7:30 that night instead of our expected time of 5pm. When we expected to have done about 2 hours of work before the movers even started! Instead, we had to pay them the extra time! They even had been done early with their morning move and could have started with use at 11:30 am; instead, they sat around until 1:30 until we finally got there. Even the movers (load/unload) said people are consistently having problems with Uhaul! Your company has caused me to have a HORRIBLE experience and spend much more money than anticipated. I am very disappointed and expect this kind of experience from a hole-in-the-wall company but not from an established company.Lori Z.

Friday morning when I went to pick up the truck there was only one person working at that time. I was in the middle but by the time I got to the desk it was all the way at the door I stood there a good 15 mins the poor girl looked shook that was checking everyone in. When I went to get my truck there was a gentleman that was sitting in the back of another truck and he sarcastically said make sure you check your truck! Mine has furniture in it and it had a kitchen table and other items. nobody can come help me he said , I've been here and went inside twice. I thought how inconveniencing that to be for him because he looked at the end of the rope. When I dropped my truck off I was standing in line looking out the window and I seen and herd an employee driving a truck pull out and scrape the side of another truck and the lady who rented it pulled away and I thought GEEZ I HOPE SHE HAS INSURANCE BECAUSE NOBODY SAID ANYTHING. The same guy that scraped the side of the truck came in to check my truck in. I was thankful he didn't have to move mine to check it in!! Was the truck I rented clean yes. Was it what I wanted yes. Was the rates great YES! But just a thought the staff may need a little help at this location because from me standing there both times at pick up and drop off they clearly had some issues going on.AMBER G.
have the employees wear masks and maintain social distancing - also, keep the trucks in good repair. The truck we had, had the weatherstripping on the driver's side door falling into the truck cabin onto the driver.Kristen H.

The uhaul 15 footer truck I rented was a piece of junk, it made sounds like it was about to break down on the way to my newly built home which was only 27 miles away from the previous location. Long story short, this truck ended up leaking a big oil spill in my brand new driveway. my wife and I are very very disappointed in uhaul.PIERRE G.

Had to really slam the drivers door to get it to shut all the way. Drivers window was missing the knob to roll window and or down. Drivers visor didnt fit. Got charged an additional $30 for what?MICHAEL B.

Ii think trucks should have at least 1/2 tank before being rented) I was concerned about the fuel level in the truck I rented. It did register 1/4 tank, (not much for a truck) but once I left the lot les than 3 Miles the gauge showed about 1/8. I put 20 dollars in immediately. That was my biggest concern.MELANIE M.

I turned the truck in the night before it was due back and they were not supposed to close until 7 pm but was already gone by 6:35 pm. They then did not check the truck in until an hour after it was due back witch charged me for another day. I called and all they could say was I am sorry I will get you your money back. And still have not got the money back. They also told me that the truck had to go back to their place and could not do a 1 way and did not even offer me a 1 way truck. I am not happy at all at this point I am thinking about going some where else next time.ERIC D.
UHaul should provide better itemized receipts so it's clear how much has been paid for each item (truck, insurance, extra days, extra miles, environment charge, etc.). Bottom line though - the 10-foot truck was plenty big enough for all items from a 1-bedroom apartment, and got us across the country with no problems - SUPER!!WILLIAM F.
Well if the charge for the milage was posted so you could see that an b ready b nice , but I didn't know the milage so had guess an was 15 miles less than I told them never offered my money back on difference an on in town rentals your milage should b free its way to much especially for the locationLEANA N.
