It was after hours when I drop the truck off put the keys and my contract in there after hours drop box they called me the next morning saying I damaged the roof and it would be $1,300 to fix it and they were going to charge my card there was nothing I could do. Thankfully the U-Haul manager got it taken care of U-Haul is a great company but not that Bubba's neighborhood car wash their con artist

Poor customer service never looked at me when talking to me... he was on the phone just told me to leave the uhaul and he will take a look at it later in the day dropped it off saturday.. on Monday I get a phone call stating I have not yet dropped off uhaul which I did on s aturday before noon

That location is a joke. It's a carwash/Uhaul, but no is there most of the time. We had to go back twice to pick up the trailer, and when I returned it, no one was there. Are you kidding me? Horrible.

This place was great! HOWEVER, it was not our first pickup place, which was supposed to be 4690 South 4000 W. The day before pickup they called and said a truck was not available at that location (couldn't they just bring it over? sheesh) so changed me to the one at 3955 S Redwood Road, and said everything else was the same, including pickup and drop off times. We were there at 9:05 to pick up, actually five minutes late, but that didn't matter - NO ONE was there. We waited till about 9:20, then called. No answer. FInally called the 800 number, and the girl said the best she could do for us was change our pickup time to 9:30. What? How does that help us? Anyway, she said they should be there by 9:30 so to just wait, which we did. By 9:50 - almost 10 o'clock! - still no one. By this time I was furious. We called the 800 number again, and the guy that answered (thankfully not the same one) transferred us to someone else, who eventually found us a truck at Bubba's location. We drove over there, picked up the truck and were finally on our way. So - the process which should have taken 30 minutes max, as the first location was only 10 minutes from home, ended up taking 2 and a half hours!! This is ridiculous. At least they did offer us a $50 credit. So - if you need a UHaul, just go to Bubba's place FIRST - don't bother with the other locations, especially the one on Redwood Road. What a waste of time on a day when we had no time to spare. Grrr.....

The Uhaul truck got stuck pulling into the drive way. The gutter was too deep and the back bumper got stuck on the road and the tires were not bearing weight. I called dispatch and all they could do was tell me that I had to call Roadside Assistance and pay to be pulled out even though I was at the drop off location. The facility is old, rundown, and cluttered with junk.

1) Odd e-mail on the morning of 6 Dec from U-Haul about Late Equipment when the truck had been returned the prior evening prior to the scheduled time. The dealer was already closed for the night. 2) Three (3) e-mails with contract, each with a different file format: PDF, PNG and GIF. Was this really necessary? Seems like borderline spam...

The complaint that I have is that my pick up location was changed without notifying me. I had to drive an additional 26 miles to pick up the trailer. The location that I originally had for pickup was no longer handling u haul. That was very inconvenient and delayed my departure by over two hours putting me behind schedule on my trip.

Dealer tried to charge me an extra day by setting drop off time 30mn after the 48hr pick up time. I asked why the insurance was $8 more and the price was $40 more than what I was quoted online. Dealer tried to tell me that's just how it breaks down until I complained and asked to see what he was putting into the computer and saw the blatant error. He had previously told me that even 30mn late on pickup would charge me an extra day, so I know he was aware of the time sensitivity. Then on drop off which was a day early and an hour before the 24 hr time from pickup. Only two workers were there and they were washing a vehicle in their main business and refused to check my trailer in. They kept saying "we email you receipt" and then went back to washing the vehicle they were working on. No one went out to check on the trailer and no one checked me in on the system. I called customer service at 530pm same day and was told they still had not checked the trailer in and their service time indicated they had closed for the day. Called customer service again today since I received an emailed invoice stated that I had the trailer for two days instead of one.

I reserved a trailer and I went to the location it said it was at. They said that even though the trailer I needed was in the parking lot it was already reserved by someone else. They sent me to this other location, apologized, and said that for the mistake there would probably be a $50 discount. It took about 20 minutes there. Then I made the 40 minute drive to where I was sent. It was in the opposite direction of where I needed to go with the trailer and I do not get great gas mileage in my beast of a truck. I got to this location, the worker there communicated to me, after about 5 minutes or so, that the owner would have to help me when he got back. (She didn't speak English or Spanish, the two languages I know, and couldn't help) After another hour had gone buy since my original reservation time (2 hours total now) I finally got the trailer and the owner told me he couldn't give me a discount up front but that he would make sure I got it after I returned the trailer. He repeated the promise to me 3 or 4 times before I left with the trailer. I returned the trailer early almost a whole day before it was due. I took pictures of the trailer showing that it was left in good clean condition. (My phone also time stamps the pictures so I can show the trailer was back early) The next day I got the bill in my email and not only did I not get the $50 discount, but I was charged for an extra day. Not sure if the owner messed up and checked it in late or messed up at the beginning some how, or maybe it was an internal problem. Either way, my reservation says 5 days, I returned it in barely over 4 days and was charged for 6 days. I've tried to call Uhaul a couple times with no answer. At this point I am considering disputing the transaction. Hopefully they respond to me soon.

It cost way to much money. You did not give free day or add 50 miles more to total as the one here does. The man said it would get 20 mile per gallon, it got 6 miles to gal.,So that in my book is a lie. So it cost way to much,.

I would add a note to the drop off instructions to log into uhaul.com and submit you dropoff info. I didn't do this until later in the day and it wanted to use GPS to confirm my dropoff location, which was to late. I also never got a confirmation that the unit was checked in at my drop off point.
