Snow and Ice on roof of box should have been removed before it went out on the road.

I arrived Saturday morning to pick up my moving truck only to find it was not ready for me, it was completely frozen into the ground. And the location I was renting from was closed. It 1.5 hours to get it out , we had to chip out ice around tires, and get a tow to get out, unacceptable!!!!!! If u didn’t have to move on that day i wouldn’t have went through the bother and just left it !!! I also took pictures this will be viral , terrible customer service !!!

The folks at the depot went above and beyond.

Clean off ice on windshield and wipers or at least provide a brush and scraper for the customer. Clean off snow and chunks of ice from rear step bumper when customer picks up. Do not place sticker about "...slowing down... speed kills" on the speedometer surface so as to obstruct the driver's view of the speedometer itself. Make sure back door is not frozen shut. It took me 20 minutes with a hammer and a pry to break-off ice and pry the door open without damaging anything.

Truck had a bunch of dirt and a few garments of clothes as well as some wood pieces in the back. Would’ve bee nice to know that there are exchange depots and local only ones. Because of this I had to go elsewhere to rent a Dolly. Also, there were no moving blankets. When I rented a truck one time from the auction hut, it was clean, had a dolly and blankets.. not the case here at the glass guys.

the staff at this location are amazing. They went out of their way to find me a dolly and even delivered it to me! Fast and courteous, they give outstanding service. Definitely recommend this location over any other.

The truck ramp was broken and presented a trip & fall hazard

No need for improvement here. The staff at this location are extremely helpful and such a pleasure to work with.

Friendly and efficient service.

I was sent the contract showing fuel level late and was told by the location staff to file to 5/8ths, the level I received the truck at. I filled to this level. I was then charged for the "easy fill" service for filling to 7/8ths because apparently that was what showed on the contract, although the fuel level was not that high when I received it. I never fought it (not worth the time), but was very disappointed at how arbitrary the fuel adjustment appears to be.

Truck should have the front end serviced it shakes and wanders all over the road.

The service at this location was excellent because of the service rep! She was consistently pleasant and flexible in meeting my needs. She explained the contract and rental details clearly so there were no surprises when the invoice arrived. She was also clear and upfront about how to minimize my charges - like how to estimate the liters of fuel required on return. Unfortunately, most service experiences these days leave customers wondering what we haven't been told and what additional expenses we'll face. This experience was just the opposite - a refreshing return to an honest, trustworthy interaction!!

Truck power steering was gone. More clunking and noises from it. Thought we were going to break down. Engine light was on,so it went through a lot of gas. Not sure who maintains these trucks but that one needs to get looked at . The glass guys were excellent so it's not there fault the trucks was not in good working order.

Glass Guys is the best experience I had at a U-Haul location in SJ, NB. Staff was inviting and the truck was clean and tidy. Would definitely use this location again.

you were great...helpful and sincere. What more can I say?

The trailer had left over debris in it from the last person. Whom I assume was moving demolition debris. Not that it deferred what I was doing, but I was surprised it was in it. As well, upon filling out the form online, could have sworn I checked off no coverage. But later I noticed they had charged me a insurance package for Safe Tow. Not that it was much, but I have coverage on my car and don't require it. I understand that I would have to pay out of pocket should something happen.

Amount charged to my card was more than what was discussed. I haven't received an email as to why the amount is different. Otherwiae, the location was great.

The truck had a bad tie rod and the wheel constantly dropped to the right when not being held firmly at center. I drove 1800 kms, through the Appalachian Mountains in a 26 foot truck that was constantly trying to pull hard to the right and drive me off a cliff at highway speed. It was not a enjoyable experience at all. In addition the side says "gentle ride van", however it rides like a bag of bricks with wheels. All the rubber bushings in the rear suspension are worn out because you could hear the metal on metal squeaking whenever you went through a parking lot at low speed. Furthermore this old topkick is tired. Based on the vin its a 2005 and has about 240000kms on a 6L gas engine. Going up some inclines, this poor old creature was dropping into 2nd gear at 4500rpm struggling to hold 80kmh. It demolished gas, I added up my fuel reciepts at the end and in 1800kms or travel, this tired old 6L had burnt through 750 dollars of gas. Furthermore, the "moms attic" portion of the truck leaked in water and ruined some of my stuff in boxes up there. I enjoyed the customer service I got on both ends, however I was very disappointed with the junky old truck I got based on how much money I paid to rent the thing.

Person in charge of rentals was in hospital. No one else there knew how to use the system and I had to call your support lines to get things sorted.
