So, my comments are based on Uhaul overall, not this location. The staff was helpful, and courteous. The problem was that I rented a 15’ truck, but that one was not available, even though Uhaul had changed my pick up location, presumably so I could get that size truck. Upon arrival, I was informed that a 10’ truck had been substituted, and contract changed, without my knowledge. I had no choice but to use that truck, as that was all they had, and it will now cost me more to move what could not fit in that size. Plus, I had reserved 12 packing blankets, but was only given 6, and later had to return to get the rest. But even then, the second pack was not full. Not the greatest of experiences U Haul.

Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. It said they had appliance dolly and they didn't. We're very slow even though I ordered online before coming to the store. Thought I damaged the uhaul but never contacted me. I called them 10 hours after return as they didn't send receipt only to find they thought it was damaged. I asked why nobody called me. He said he couldn't answer my questions and he couldn't reach uhaul person. I then asked for corporate number which took him 10 minutes to find for me. The corporate person was super helpful but also couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. He sent an email with my contact information and said someone would reach out to me to get it settled but I received no contact from them just an email with the receipt. Would have been nice to get a call first to tell me there was an issue and second to say it was resolved. Very poor service and very slow to get booking. I have rented uhaul before at other places and have been very pleased. I would not recommend this location

DAN GWhen I picked up the U-Haul I notice the passenger side door was unlocked the window was down. As I got in it I noticed a strong smell off drugs. I had to roll down the window due to strong snell. The next day we packed to U-Haul with my furniture as I was getting ready to start driving to California from Rockford. The strong smell was there again. To my luck every time I would open the door after rolling up the windows at a gas station I could smell weed. As we got into Arizona. The truck out of nowhere turn off on me thank God I was in the first lane where I was able to pull over. And try to restart the truck. It was a rattles sound in the driver side. And seems lijevit has transmission issue. On top when I took my personal belongings that I put behind the driver seat I noticed my belongings where stain of white paint. (2 bugs/ sleeping bag / sweaters/ blanket plus I noticed the U-Haul has over 13,500 miles on it.
